Abortion is terrorism. Anyone with a heart or a conscience cannot look at a fetus and deny that fetus is a living, innocent, defenseless human being. You can rationalize and skirt around it all you want with whatever legalese you want, but in your gut you know the truth. You can deny it all you want, I don't believe your justifications and deep down you know, although will argrue it to the end, they are excuses. May God have mercy on you.

Nobody without x-ray vision can look at fetus at all, and if they did, I reckon they'd be reminded of 'The Blob'. In fact, I'm willing to bet abortion clinics would be filled with screams of "KILL IT! KILL IT WITH FIRE!"
Doesn't your bible say your god breathed life into Adam?
If you want to use your bible for definitions, at least stick to it.

Yeah, still got a ways to go.
'Abortion is terrorism.'
So is fundamentalism. Look at so-called 'pro-life' terrorists James Charles Kopp, Paul Hill, John Salvi, Michael Griffin, Eric Rudolph, and Clayton Lee Waagner. All these low-lifes were fundies who killed in the name of 'saving babies'. Go shove your KJV Bible up your ass.

I can!
This is NOT a living, innocent, defenseless human being...

If abortion doctors were sneaking into pregnant women's homes, and sucking out the fetus, you'd have a case, honey, but as that's not the case...
@Damen and Mortok: Technically, by the time the unborn reaches the "fetus" stage, it looks recognizably human by most counts. That doesn't make abortion "terrorism," any more than it makes an appendectomy "vivisection" or "torture," but that doesn't change the fact that a fetus looks like this:

whereas an embryo, which you are both referring to, looks like this:

The cutoff point between the embryonic stage and the fetal stage is 8 weeks past conception. By the eighth week of development, all the major organs are in place, the heart is beating, and fetal brain waves are detectable by an EEC. All that is needed at this point is an additional 7 months for those tiny, delicate organs to grow into the more durable and sophisticated body systems of a newborn child.
Speaking from the pulpit is terrorism. Anyone with a heart or a conscience cannot look at a preacher and deny that preacher is a lying, guilty, offensive human being. You can rationalize and skirt around it all you want with whatever legalese you want, but in your gut you know the truth. You can deny it all you want, I don't believe your justifications and deep down you know, although will argrue it to the end, they are excuses. May Russell's Teapot have mercy on you.
Fixed.
Anyone with a heart or a conscience cannot look at a fetus and deny that fetus is a living, innocent, defenseless human being, while the mother is a fornicating piece of crap who deserves to be punished with an unwanted child because she had sex ... [/sarcasm]
Actually they look like little aliens with reptilian brains. So I guess that proves that we're really put here by reptilian alien masters to forward their universal dominance plan.
meh, makes as much sense.
@ John
Cudos
yet another idiot that thinks everybody secretly agrees with every retarded opinion he holds.
Most abortions are done before it's even a fetus, it's just a lump of cells which doesn't closely resemble a human being at all.
I think it's time we stopped letting these idiots pretend they're oh so superior morally. You want to stop abortions, TxKat? Guess what, so do I! Let's start with a good sex-ed program -- none of this abstinence-only crap that study after study shows doesn't work -- that teaches girl how to prevent unwanted pregnancies. Let's make it so that when young people have sex -- and they will, no matter how much you put the blinders on -- they have easy access to birth control. If it's a big embarrassment to get condoms or the pill, they'll just have unprotected sex and cross their fingers. And finally, let's make it so that if a woman gets pregnant she isn't discouraged financially from carrying the child. That would mean things like prenatal care, adoption services, and a whole host of support services that might allow the mother to finish school or keep working rather than having to stay home and take care of the baby.
So, in short, if you really have the slightest care in the world for these little unborn babies, TxKat, go out there and adopt a couple of crack babies or volunteer your time and money to a program that will reduce unwanted pregnancies. If not, then you're just a hypocrite who doesn't really care about helping those poor little babies at all.
"Anyone with a heart or a conscience cannot look at a fetus and deny that fetus is a living, innocent, defenseless human being."
See that porcelain doll on the table over there?
It looks just like a baby!
How can you deny that the porcelain doll is a living, innocent, defenseless human being?
As the late, great George Carlin so aptly put it: "Why is it that when we talk about humans, it's an abortion, but if it's chickens, it's called an omelet?"
"Abortion is terrorism."
This is your Department of State's definition of terrorism: "[...] premeditated, politically motivated violence perpetrated against noncombatant targets by subnational groups or clandestine agents, usually intended to influence an audience."
Abortion is not terrorism. However, bombing abortion clinics can very well be.
Very few abortions take place in the third trimester, and then they are usually motivated by dire circumstances. The embryo becomes a fetus at 9 to 12 weeks. It is about 2.5 cm in length and is beginning to assume human form. But medicine and biology seems to agree that a fetus becomes fully human about the time the third trimester begins (24 weeks). The criteria: the neural pathways have been completed and an EEG can be taken. In brief, the characteristics that help define a human -- self awareness and the ability to think -- are present. Developmental stages before the third trimester are biological advances toward the status of human. Your religious prattle and emotionalism changes this not a whit.
"Anyone with a heart or a conscience cannot look at a fetus and deny that fetus is a living, innocent, defenseless human being."
I dunno about that, but there sure are enough people in the world who look upon a living, breathing, thinking woman and think that she is nothing but a whore to be punished for existing, and that her uterine parasite is inherently worth more than her. Of course, if that fetus turns out to be female, it can expect the same treatment once it gets past the magical lovey-dovey stage of being unborn.
"Anyone with a heart or a conscience cannot look at a fetus and deny that fetus is a living, innocent, defenseless human being."
Can't believe nobody's slapped the No True Scotsman label on this yet.
Imma calling it.
Make all the ad hom attacks you'd like. I stand by what I said and if I didn't strike a nerve, I doubt you would have posted. You don't have to remain in your hard hearted state though...God allows U-turns :-)
God bless you
And P.S., I'm not a 'fundie'
P.P.S. Wild 72--if you can't see the difference between a human unborn child and a chicken egg...
a fetus is NOT a living, innocent, defenseless human being
why do they keep insisting that it is?
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
