[So long as it's between two consenting adults, it's nobody else's business.]
And similarly, it is not the consenting adults' business how other people choose to define their union.

Actually that's public business which makes it everyone's business.
Jerk off.
And similarly, it is not the faithful's business to define his religion.
It's mine and i define it as "bullshit"

Correct. But it certainly is their business how their government defines all unions.
"So what if I oppress you? It's my choice, none of your bloody business already!"
I've read the thread. This guy is either a very, very, very persistent troll, or a record-stupid fundie.
Actually, once you start to meddle with human rights, yeah it kinda is. You can scream to the high heavens how it is not a marriage, but it's what the law says that counts, and there is no legal reason for such a union to NOT be granted.
Ok.
I'm defining Christianity as a hobby, not a religion.
Where's your taxes, douche?
Well if you kept your comments in your own life then no it wouldn't be my business. But since you decide to go public with your shit, it becomes my busines. Same as if two gay men decide to screw in public or in my livingroom, then it's my business.
I love the part where he talks about the creators of the Enlightenment as if they were absolutely the last word on democracy and culture.
I wonder how he defends himself against charges of "might makes right" or the idea that civil rights should not be subject to referendum...

I'm not sure I understand this. Are you saying it's none of your business if two consenting mem chose to define their relationship as marriage?
Confused?
