If I were to look at Christianity through an agnostic point of view (im christian btw) I would say christians have the right idea. If we are "right" and jesus really did save us all and there is a heaven and a god then we go to heaven and live eternally with him. if we are "wrong" (which of course i believe we are right) then oh well we lived a life that was fulfilling, full of kindness and in fellowshipwith those alike. if theres no life after death christians would still have it made. ^___^

Unless it turns out that Muslim, or Shinto or Norse is the true religion. Then you'd burn in hell/freeze for eternity in Niflheim/whatever it is Shintoists believe happens to you when you die.
By the way, you wouldn't know an agnostic point of view if it jumped up and bit you.
"if we are "wrong" then oh well we lived a life that was fulfilling, full of kindness and in fellowshipwith those alike"
If that were true, this site would not exist for your comment to have appeared on.

Full of kindness? christ-stains?
Not from where I'm standing.
Wager's theory has been discredited long ago and is a total contradiction with what Jesus said(he insists that, since you can't see God, YOU MUST act based on love, not just believe in him. Life will not be fulfilled automatically). If Christianity were a mere club to be, there wouldn't make more sense that countless religions which people the earth, to which the same argument applies(go figure what would happen if Islam were right or Judaism, for that matter).
Actually, what happens is the opposite. I don't know if you have watched the movie "the Rapture", starring Mimi Rogers. In the end, the Rapture comes but the main character finds it so absurd that she prefers to be in that purgatory-like existence than accepting such an absurd way of life. I think that the movie has caught the psychology of those who don't convert to those door-to-door preachers platitudes. As my mother, a devout Catholic, said when she expelled the last of the JW who harassed us, "even if they are right, their ideas make no sense".
The Agnostic POV makes you think that, with so many religions in the world, you should apply the same logic and convert to all at the same time, in case they're right, which is IMPOSSIBLE.
Except you don't have to be Christian to live in a way that is "fulfilling, full of kindness." Especially when you are kind because you truly love your fellow man, and not because Big Sky Daddy is forcing you to be.
Being a christian you have absolutely NO idea what an agnostic (nor atheist) POV is, and never will have.
But I WILL tell you this. I am 73 and the first 51 years was as a christian. During my lifetime I have been in a state of death TWICE whilst I was a dedicated christian.
I have no fear of the inevitable.
When YOU die, you had better prepare yourself for the biggest disappointment of your life, and start by getting off your sanctimonious high-horse and looking in the mirror long and hard.
It's the 21st Century, and these idiots are still serving up warmed-over Pascal? It was stupid when it was first written, and it doesn't get any better by being rehashed constantly.
The trouble with thinking that you xtians "have the right idea" is that Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists etc etc all think they "have the right idea" too.
The only way to be absolutely certain that you have the right idea is to believe in every god/goddess/deity that ever has existed, as well as every one that hasn't been invented yet; and if you are that sort of person, then you have much more serious issues to deal with anyway (e.g. breathing in and out, remembering which hole to put food in, etc).

Unless Allah is god as the Muslims keep telling you. Or one of the numerous "pagan" gods who probably wouldn't be too happy that you weren't worshiping them. They all have special little hells they can put you in too.
Didn't think of that, did ya?
Yeah, but what if at the end, the Flying Spaghetti Monster throws you into the lake of boiling marinara for following the false god, Jesus?
Confused?
