[Another more rational fundie has noticed that the others believe the stereotype that all gay men have HIV/AIDS or other STDs and shouldn't donate blood, and attempts to correct them.]
The threat of AIDS created that ban for the public good. Anyone who has been exposed to a serious blood disorder cannot donate blood. I once had a roommate {heterosexual} who contracted Hepatitis and I {heterosexual} was not allowed to donate after that. That's not a stereotype, that's common sense based on public health concerns.

There is no such thing as 'homophobia'. It's a word the liberal media has contrived to demonize anyone with a biblical view of the act of homosexuality, which is indeed perversion.
RR discussions condemn the unrepentant celebration of all evil -- not the individual who practices/promotes it. I'm sorry that you have confused the two diametrically opposed concepts. Gay activists have invaded our schools with this ugliness and ,yes, we fight back with the unvarnished truth. If our kindergartens were mandated to teach children that stealing is OK because "you may have been born a thief so it's natural to steal" we'd be here protesting that agenda too.

The thing is, apart from non-literal "I was born to do this" expressions, you're not born a thief, but you are born a homosexual. And hating homosexuality and hating homosexuals, no matter how different the intentions, are both going to be seen as hateful. Try to think of other people.
The view on homosexuality espoused by Jesus was... well, nothing. He never mentioned t3h gh3y, but he talked about helping the poor a lot. Why aren't you giving away everything you have to the poor? Are you some kind of Pharisee?

Theres no such thing as no such thing as homophobia. It's a phrase the lamestream media contrived to make fundies seem like decent people while still engaging in indecent hatred.
Well Barb, having frequently been bashed as a result of the homophobia you claim doesn't exist, I'd just like to say a hearty "Go fuck yourself, you ignorant bitch."
The Bible is guilty of humanophobia but promotes arseholeophilia. Also, fundies suffer from lexiconophobia, which is a fear of dictionaries.
Many Christian cults, including Rapture Ready, have a philosophy that can be summed up by the phrase, "If it's wrongheaded and despicable then we're for it, on the other hand, if it's the very epitome of moderation, which actually sounds somewhat immoderate, or if it's blatantly good and just, then we're definitely against it". This is because of an addiction to desert beardy scribbling.
Stealing is a crime that deprives people of possessions.
Homosexuality is consensual sex between adults; it's not a crime and it doesn't harm anyone nor deprive anyone of posessions.
There is such a thing as homophobia! It's people with an irrational fear or aversion of gay people, who have no impact on their lives, whatsoever.
If our kindergartens were mandated to teach children that black-skinned people are OK, because "they are born that way, so it's natural for them" to have black skin; would you be there to protest too? Because that is MUCH closer to your current protests.
Barb, you've commited the ultimate sin of equating the map for the thing.
Homophobia has existed for as long as there has been identified gay people (by which I mean forever). We just developed a word to describe the unreasoning fear of gay people, just like we had an infectious disease that filed the lungs with fluid long before we named it Tuberculosis.
Oh, and have you given your possessions to the poor, as commanded by Jeebus Cracker? Then how can you say you are a Bible-believing Christian.
If our kindergartens were mandated to teach children that stealing is OK because "you may have been born a thief so it's natural to steal"
I hate this argument. Even if you're born a thief (which I highly doubt; at best you're more predisposed to crime) you're still harming others and violating their rights so whether or not it's genetic is kind of irrelevant toward whether or not it's okay. The only way it would matter is that it would provide a stronger case for prevention and rehabilitation as punishment would be less likely to work as a deterrent or a correctional measure.
Simply being gay, on the other hand, does not intrinsically harm anyone and any persons affected by it are consenting. Given that, there isn't any reason to discriminate against them any more than there's reason to discriminate against someone who likes metal or someone who's into BDSM.

Yet that very statement in itself is homophobic.
Stealing hurts others, usually. Being gay doesn't hurt others.
It's possible someone gay with AIDS or another STD might hurt someone, but that's just as true of a straight person.
"It's a word the liberal media has contrived to demonize anyone with a biblical view of the act of homosexuality, which is indeed perversion."
Indeed, the "biblical view" of homosexuality is perverse. Kinda makes one wonder why you support such a perverted worldview, as a matter of fact.
"RR discussions condemn the unrepentant celebration of all evil -- not the individual who practices/promotes it."
"Hate the sin, (claim to) love the sinner", number infinity+1. Yawn...
The only condition before donating blood should be a blood test to see if the blood is contaminated. Otherwise gay, straight, black, white, male, female, it should not matter so.
People should get their blood tested often if they are at risk regardless, it's not a gay thing.

The only problem with that (well, the only problem I'm going to bother with, due to space restrictions...) is that for the ban to make sense it would require ANYONE who is the same orientation as a person with AIDS/HIV be banned from donating blood... which means NO-ONE can donate.
The fact that it simply doesn't do that means it's not a ban on people who have been exposed to a serious blood disorder (although you mean a fucking disease... not a damned disorder) but is simply a ban on people for their orientation, whether they've been exposed or not!
Mind explaining why that is...? Mind explaining why you hold some groups to a much higher standard and come down on them much harder if they don't meet that standard...? Of course you can't... not without admitting that you do not like the fact that those groups even exist!
If our kindergartens were mandated to teach children that discrimination and bigotry is OK because "you may have been born a shit so it's natural to treat others like shit" we'd be here celebrating that agenda too.
Fixed it for you...
No, it is a stereotype that men in same sex relationships must have HIV/AIDS.
You equate thievery with a healthy attraction to another human being who just happens to be of the same sex. Sure, that doesn't sound like biased, hateful nonsense at all. And of course repressing same sex attractions and feeling shameful and guilty about it doesn't hurt anyone, nooo. Because accepting said attraction is also the same as promoting eeeevil. Gotcha. Of course when you say these things you're not targeting anyone or devaluing others as human beings or anything. You're condemning a harmless, but very important innate part of a person. Big difference. Only a dimwit couldn't grasp this.
Homophobia existed long before the "liberal media" even came about, sorry. You are, without a doubt, a raging homophobic. And by choosing to be a homophobe you hurt people. Real people, not concepts.
OK, he WAS right about homophobia not really being a proper term.
A more accurate one would be 'Asshole'
Confused?
