First, Manny Mua is absolutely gorgeous, and his dad is doing as a parent is supposed to do (you know, loving him as he is and without condition) by supporting him. Good for Manny's dad!
Secondly, I know there probably isn't an answer to this question, but dammit, hope springs eternal: why in the name of Neptune's balls is Pazuzu presiding over the festivities? According to Mesopotamian mythology, Pazuzu was the protector of children and mothers during childbirth. Remember in The Exorcist when Father Merrin found the little statue and remarked to himself, "Evil against evil"? That's because Lamashtu, Pazuzu's female counterpart, attacked birthing mothers and stole children, which she then killed and ate, while Pazuzu was the guardian spirit invoked to stop her.
Therefore, it makes no sense to have him depicted as participating in a situation in which children were harmed. As a protector, he'd be likely to open up some Ichi the Killer-esque whoopass on the crowd (Spoilers. Just sayin'.).
I'm guessing either:
1) Chick saw The Exorcist and mistook Pazuzu for Satan,
2) Didn't bother to research, choosing instead to use the image because it 'looks evil',
3) Simply gave zero fucks, because the end justifies the means, don'tcha know...
I'd welcome any insight into this you good folks might have to offer. The figure just seems so...out of place.
