His cult followers are already clamoring for it and he has shown his disdain for the Constitution so there is no reason he would obey the 22nd amendment when the first ten have been discarded so easily.

Frankly, the blue states are the ones supporting your red-state asses, since you take more in benefits from the Federal government than you put in. So, go ahead and secede, and see how you like your freedom from the awful tyranny of our social security, medicare, food stamps, highway funds, postal services, medical research, FEMA disaster relief (of which you also usually take the lion's share, even though you badmouth it), etc.

One guy in Congress considered proposing a bill to repeal the 22nd Amendment, which limits the President to 2 terms. In order to pass, this would require 2/3 of the states to ratify.
Considering how most Republicans and Democrats are against repealing the 22nd Amendment, I don't see Obama serving more than the 2 terms he was elected for.
Funny thing about the 22nd Amendment: it didn't affect Truman, since he was already President when it passed. (Then he did poorly in the early 1952 primaries and dropped out.) The first person it hit was Eisenhower, meaning that instead of him facing Kennedy, Nixon had to.

A third term makes him a dictator in full and we have no such office in our Constitution. That is just one more point on the timeline where civil war is justified. That is why I keep telling you all that we are going to have to fight that war eventually so we may as well make it over something worth having – secession.
