[Review of Bill O'Reilly's Culture Warrior]
Unlike liberals who use ghost writers, Bill O'Reilly is the real deal. This book exposes the ACLU, George Soros, the New York Times, and other anti-American liberal extremist organizations for what they are. Just read the reviews on this book, this book drives liberals up the wall -- and they haven't even read it!!
I have purchased nine copies of this book and I will be giving them away as Christmas presents. That's right liberals, I used the word "Christmas". I hope that offends you. Five stars for a great book from a great American.

O Rly?
Use x-mas all you like. That's what makes America great.
Knowing what I do about BOR, the reason that liberals are being driven up the wall by the book is because like Mann Cunter, it will be buzzwords, appeals to emotions, cherry-picked, generalized, republican ass-kissing (in fact, a denial of reality, if someone is still kissing bush's ass), misleading and twisted facts, personal attacks, paranoia, gun-jumping blather from a shitwit who floated to the top of the Ugly American septic tank.
But, whatever.
I am a Liberal. I know literaly thousands of other liberals.
Not a single one of them is in any way shape or form offended by the word "Christmas." Not even the Jewish ones. Not even the atheist ones.
Bill's book does not upset me in the slightest. It's like an Ann Coulter book; no one will read it except those who already know what it says and already agree with it. It is meaningless in the larger scheme of things, in the same way every Michael Moore film except "Me & Roger" has been meaningless. When you preach to the choir, you essentially turn your back on most of the people in the room...
I would , however, be a liitle irritated if someone used Christmas as an opportunity to foist off some propaganda on me that I had no interest whatsoever in reading. I don't know, maybe I'm too "traditional," but I don't think that Christmas should be a time to force your political views on others in the form of a "gift."
I am not offended by the word Christmas, nor the idea behind it. What is offensive is mass consumerism and the idea that Christians need to fight a war that doesn't exist forcing corporate entities into expressing wishes that have nothing at all to do with the spirit of the season.
As for Bill O'Reilley, I am not threatened or aggravated by that buffoon, only mildly amused that so many people are taken in by his bullshit.
Merry Christmas!
What you´re describing it´s what happens WITH FUNDIES.(They always write "in colaboration"). Besides, I use the words kwanza, deir-el Fidir, Hanukka and Dewali. I´m a Christian and I don´t feel offended. Neither are liberals.
The only thing that offends me is your utter lack of education, and I find that offensive because it means you didn't even take advantage of a free public education when you had the chance.
Otherwise, your words are just so much gnat straining.
"Unlike liberals who use ghost writers, Bill O'Reilly is the real deal. This book exposes the ACLU, George Soros, the New York Times, and other anti-American liberal extremist organizations for what they are."
Soros is a liberal, but the NYT is hardly wholly liberal. The ACLU defends those who have civil rights claims regardless of political orientation. They are defending Freddie Phelps, hardly a liberal poster boy.
"Just read the reviews on this book, this book drives liberals up the wall -- and they haven't even read it!!"
No, I'll have to read it or hear about it from someone who is not an idiot before I'll be "driven up the wall.
"I have purchased nine copies of this book and I will be giving them away as Christmas presents."
Woohoo. A Bill OhReally book. Just what I wanted.
"That's right liberals, I used the word "Christmas". I hope that offends you."
I don't give a big rat's ass if you use the word Christmas.
"Five stars for a great book from a great American."
Great American? Did George Soros write this book? Surely you can't mean that Bill is a "great American."
Happy Hollow Days.
I'll never understand how anyone can like that guy. Every time I see a picture of him, my gut churns a little...and when I actually hear him talk , it starts tap-dancing on my liver.
Also, I call it Christmas, too, and I'm a liberal and an athiest. I bet that just pisses you the hell off, doesn't it?
OMG, he said Christmas! Oh no, I said Christmas! There, I said it again, I said Christmas! The world is going to end because the Christmas was said. ACK!! I did it again, I said Christmas!
Christmas, Christmas, Christmas, Christmas!
OK, I am kidding, I am liberal and I say Christmas all the time. Christmas trees, Christmas cheer, Christmas eggnog. Especially Christmas eggnog! Christmas dinner, Christmas shopping, Christmas prezzies. Wow, and liberals popped out of the woodwork to confiscate my ACLU card. Amazing. I guess that whole war on Christmas is more of a War on anyone who isn't Christian. Sounds about right.
If, as "SN" claims, liberals use ghost writers, surely the ghost writers must themselves be liberals (in order to write those evilly liberal things they write).
And since liberals use ghost writers, liberal ghost writers must have their own ghost writers, who must also be liberals (in order to write the things they write).
And so on, ad infinitum.
Therefore, the universe is made of liberals. Or the premise needs to be revised.
Second, let´s say for 1000th time the reason behind the use of Christmas. The ACLU has never told anybody not to say merry Christmas. Moreover, you can wish merry Christmas and use it if you like. It´s just that some institutions and some groceries and companies, as they don´t know who are addressing, whether they are actually celebrating Christmas or not, they use a neutral term. I mean, I find it logical. It´s simply a filthy lucrative strategy to gain more clients. In that case, the state can´t intervene and it´s not going to.
That's right liberals, I used the word "Christmas". I hope that offends you.
It doesn't, but thanks for trying, moron.
Oh, and Merry Christmas.
Even if the book flops so badly that bookstores are giving it away, people like Richard Mellon Scaife will be there to make sure that no book retailer, like B&N, or the publisher, take a loss on it.
@SN"SN"
Unlike liberals who use ghost writers
Name some.
Bill O'Reilly is the real deal.
What the hell is that supposed to mean?
This book exposes the ACLU, George Soros, the New York Times, and other anti-American liberal extremist organizations for what they are.
Civil liberties are un-American? Better get rid of that Constitution, it seems to place a lot of importance of civil liberties. I've not heard of this Soros fellow, so I can't say one way or the other. And the New York Times is out for money, plain and simple. Just like FAUX News. The New York Times' target audiance is liberal, so it stands to reason they will appease them by being left of people like you.
Just read the reviews on this book, this book drives liberals up the wall -- and they haven't even read it!!
Have you? Or are you just giving O'Reilly a hand-job?
I have purchased nine copies of this book and I will be giving them away as Christmas presents.
Good for you! Thanks for helping the economy in this minor way.
That's right liberals, I used the word "Christmas". I hope that offends you.
Nope, doesn't offend. Merry Christmas to you.
Five stars for a great book
Since that's a matter of opinion, whatever.
from a great American.
What makes him so "great"?
I would, however, be a liitle irritated if someone used Christmas as an opportunity to foist off some propaganda on me that I had no interest whatsoever in reading. I don't know, maybe I'm too "traditional," but I don't think that Christmas should be a time to force your political views on others in the form of a "gift."
Definitely. This guy had better only be giving the book to people who will like it.
But... I mean, come on. What a lazy shopper, just getting everyone the same book. I'd be pissed (even if it were a book written by an atheist). Unless it happened to be something cool, like a new computer, I don't want the same damn thing everybody else is getting.
Citation needed. Do each and every liberal use ghost writers?
Reviews are just other people's view on a book. I may not have the same view. WHO is reviewing it, that's a much more interesting point.
As most Liberals are probably Christian, I bet they have no problem using the word Christmas. It's just a word, after all, it's not magic in any way.
I am an agnostic socialist and I have no problem saying Merry Christmas to my non-Swedish friends.
> Just read the reviews on this book, this book drives liberals up the wall -- and they haven't even read it!!
The fact that it is written by Bill O' proves that it is meaningless nonsense.
> I have purchased nine copies of this book and I will be giving them away as Christmas presents .
You are an asshole. At least give people something with some intrinsic value.
> That's right liberals, I used the word "Christmas". I hope that offends you.
To be honest, I don't give a fuck. I use that word myself all the time.
A Liberal extremist? That's a nice oxymoron, stupid, as Liberals are usually seen as being in the middle of the political spectrum, while extremists are on the outer rims of the spectrum. Are you perhaps speaking of Libertarians?
Exposes the ACLU, for what? Defending the constitutional rights of Christians? How DARE they?!?
If anyone is anti-American, it's Bill O'Reilly who seems to hate everything and everyone in America.
Go on, use the word "Christmas" all you want. It's just a word, which brings forth the image of trees and Santa and food and candles. Why would we be offended by that?
Confused?
