right after my sister accepted Christ and began going to church with me. She had been a Wiccan witch and we were under serious demonic attacks. ( I won't go into details but it was real) My only advice is to listen to praise music, pray and sing out loud and never assume that you can handle it all by yourself. Our authority comes from Christ and they know it. Order any and everyone who was not invited to participate in your life...to get out of your life by the authority of Jesus Christ who died on the cross for you. It took awhile but they did leave and things have been relatively peaceful for almost a year. I still have a habit of singing at the top of my lungs that " I am a child of God" while I am cleaning house. Hope this helps...

Yeah... I'll bet that does work. Sometimes it just takes awhile for people to realize when someone is rather crazy.
I read this thread and realise that the RR fundies have gone from annoying, looney, weird, to outright batshit insane, crossing the boundaries into a group madness.
Time for them to pour the Koolaid I think
"You there; next-door neighbor's dog!"
"I command thee to get off my lawn, in the name of jezuz christ who died for me on the cross!"
I wonder what it must be like in the brain of a fundie...
Hope this helps...
Yeah, it does. It helps your neighbors to know who to watch out for (hint: the unbalanced woman screaming about being a child of god behind twenty door locks and with the cd player blaring 'Worship Jamz'). Also, it helps them to know that they need to put 911 on speed dial.
Mamma Mia, here we go again! My my!
Must be funny, in a Christian's world.
I thought that "I am a child of God" is a mormon song, but this doesn't sound like any mormon I've ever met. I've never heard one of them use the phrase "serious demonic attacks," and I lived in Utah for 20 years.
Plus, mormons don't believe in the rapture.
This is just weird. I mean, in a different way than some others.
Alright, let's play Devil's advocate here for a moment.
I'm going to pretend that I am one of the following and I have come to terrorize you:
A Hindu Death God
A Sumerian Daimon
A Persian Daeva
A Shinto Demon
A Buddhist Yang Spirit
A Taoist Yang Spirit
A Vampire / Werewolf / Psychic Leech
Now, tell me where in:
The Rig Veda
The Zoroastrian Writings
Dharmic Laws
Shinto Holy Books
The Enuma Elish
Or Anne Rice novels
It says that your Jesus can stop these Non-Judeo-Christian discarnate embodiments of evil.
When you can cite and source, I'll stop pretending to eat your children and accept that I am in fact the Devil.
Here we have a woman who thinks she can throw around the authority of christ, against those who haven't gotten her permission to 'participate in her life', yet she believes a dogma that teaches her arrogance is sinful.
"She had been a Wiccan witch and we were under serious demonic attacks."
Let that teach you a lesson: You shouldn't go out at night if there in a city with a hellmouth. At least not without a slayer as escort.
@Jay-Sus: I go for a bit of Kamelot myself. Love that guy's voice. Belting out (what I know of the lyrics of) Edenecho or Mourning Star makes sweeping up almost enjoyable. Doesn't work if my parents are at home, though...
And unto the quotation: I have to say, these unspecified 'serious demonic attacks' pique my imagination. Did 16 Bloodletters appear in the living room, roll a hit on their scatter dice and assault before you could shoot them? Did you get the fat evil one from that terrible Spawn movie annoying you at all times of the day and night? Do you sing at the top of your lungs to drown him out/try and persuade the Bloodletters to fail their invulnerable saves?...
Troy's back, as usual.
Re: the quote: I remember my last year of college was spent in a suite with three other girls. We each had our own room. One of them loved to blare gospel music, even late at night when everyone else was trying to sleep, and early in the morning. Usually I drowned her out with new age/ambient music or J-rock.
I'd do the same if I had to listen to MAC sing all day. There comes a point where critical overload is reached.
Confused?
