This is the part that makes me angriest at the anti-equal rights crowd. The whole idea that, "Oh, those [insert discriminated group here] are upset just because we disagree with them." Bullshit. You don't only 'disagree with them' you are trying to deny them human rights. This has nothing to do with agreeing or disagreeing and everything to do with the fact that you are, in effect, denying that gay people are human and therefore qualify for the same rights as everyone else.
You are the same as the racists who tried to deny black people equal rights. They didn't see the targets of their discrimination as human either.
So stop fucking pretending that this is some sort of political or philosophical debate, it's not. To be frank, if you agree with the fight for equal rights, then you admit and recognize that all people, regardless of their sex, gender identity, orientation, skin color, cultural identity, ethnic origin or religion are human beings and therefore worthy and deserving of respect and equality. If you disagree with the prospect of equal rights for gay people than you are no better than the fascists you accuse the left of emulating because you deny that members of these groups are human.
Yes, I may have tip-toed the line towards Godwin's Law right there, but I give exactly zero fucks about it. The anti-equality people are literally emulating the philosophies and ideals of the Nazis. Based on that fact alone, they don't deserve my respect. So no, I won't be tolerant of you Rapture Ready, fundy, right wing, conservative shitlords, because you are not worthy of tolerance. Your hate is a choice, someone's orientation or sex or identity is not.
And if there is a Hell and a just God, the only people who belong there or are deserving of cosmic-scale punishment are you scum-sucking rats and all those who agree with your beliefs or beliefs like them.
