the crusades being fought by christians is a misconception, technically it was fought by people told by the current pope that fighting the muslims would redeem their sins, essentially they were catholics
and not to mention that their were multiple crusades,each having less and less to do with religion

Not quite. There were the Eastern Orthodox Christians as well. (though I doubt most fundies would call them Christian either)
This is true, all politically motivated and religiously sanctioned.
However, they were still Christians. You can either be a majority in America with Catholics or you can be a minority without the Crusades. You can't have it both ways.

Actually although the last sentence is basically correct in my opinion, it can't make up for all the stupidity in the sentence that proceeds it. Ignoramus99, Catholics believe in Jesus CHRIST as a savior just like Baptists, Penecostals, Methodists. and Lutherans. All are considered C-H-R-I-S-T-I-A-N-S by the D-I-C-T-I-O-N-A-R-Y. You are considered an I-D-I-O-T by everyone here.
