“I don't hate God. I just don't believe He exists.”
Such is the way of many cultures that if a son or daughter marries out of the faith or does something of which they strongly disagree, in the parent’s minds, they no longer exist. There is no greater contempt for a person than to so hate them they don’t exist in your mind.

By that "logic", the person who set Ray straight must also have a deep hatred for people with psionic powers, aliens, and all manner of things. It's amazing that us skeptics can go about our lives thinking only of all the stuff we hate.
And Ray, the parents in said cultures don't literally forget that the child exists. That's what the death threats are for. You suck at analogies, as always.
This isn't even a coherent argument, Ray.
@creativerealms: To me, this line of thinking actually seems more disorganized than usual for Ray.
"Atheists hate god. They just don't believe he exists."
Such is the stupid argument repeatedly put forth by idiots like Ray Comfort. There is no greater stupidity for a person than to believe that others hate things they don't even believe exit.
...What? What kind of insane troll logic is that? I mean, sure, it's Ray Comfort, but this is nonsensical even by his standards.
Religious people deny their own childs existence if they marry out of a bullshit unsupportable belief system.
Is somehow, with Ray the retard, comparable to:
Hating some fictional character who you don't believe in as if it's real.
So hating something that's not real while pretending something that is doesn't exist.
That's got Ray Comfort faith written all over it.
You fucking loser!
"There is no greater contempt for a person "
Like everything else Ray says, he's wrong about this, too. There's my contempt for the likes of Comfort, Hovind, and Ham.
“I don't hate God. I just don't believe He exists.”
Yeah, pretty much.
“Such is the way of many cultures that if a son or daughter marries out of the faith or does something of which they strongly disagree, in the parent’s minds, they no longer exist.”
Hmm. Not a culture I’m part of, nor do i want to be. My kids are my kids through all of time and there’s no fucking escape from that fact, bwahhahaha!
I mean, I love them too much.
“There is no greater contempt for a person than to so hate them [so much]they don’t exist in your mind.”
But, still, I’m not in that culture, this isn’t a mechanism I utilize.
This is just you cramming everyone else into stereotypes of your choosing.
What a pickle-dick you are.
Confused?
