5 Reasons Gay Parents Are A Very Bad Idea

1. It goes against God's Plan for a Holy, Wholesome and Biologically correct family unit, One man One woman.

2. It is confusion to a child who is brought up in it, and none of the children in that family could ever be the result of a normal union between those 2 parents.

3. It is an ultra abomination before God since it places an abomination that God Hates in front of innocent children, and attempts to create a normality to that which is ultra abnormal, and damages the young childrens hearts and their morality in the worst way.

4.The endorsement of such arrangements promotes further sin because it will encourage it "Train up a child in the way they will go and when they are old they will not depart from it"

5. The succeeding generations will have become unable to rationalize between what is right and wrong on account of living in this lifestyle.

1. It goes against Blorg's Plan for a Holy, Wholesome and Biologically correct family unit. Three men, Five women and Two farm animals.

2. It is confusing to a child who is brought up in it, and none of the children in that family unit could ever be the result of a normal union between 3 parents and a goat.

3. It is a mega ultra abomination before Blorg since it places an abomination that Blorg Hates in front of innocent children, and attempts to create a normality to that which is super duper abnormal, and damages the young children's hearts and their morality in the worst way.

4.The endorsement of such arrangements promotes further sin because it will encourage it. "Train up a child in the way of Blorg and when they are old they will not depart from it."

5. The succeeding generations will have become unable to rationalize between what is right and wrong on account of living in this lifestyle. Some may even come to consider such blasphemies as monogamous heterosexual marriage as some divinely blessed natural order.

And that's the problem with the argument "my magical invisible friend doesn't like it!" Someone else is just as able to invent an magical invisible friend who does.

1. Religious beliefs don't matter in a secular country. And not everyone believes in your religion, so stop trying to force your morality upon everyone else.

2. The child won't be confused once it's explained to him that while most families are made up of a mommy and a daddy, sometimes families are made up of two mommies or two daddies. I don't see any problem here.

4. See #1. Also, children being raised by gay parents don't automatically become gay, and straight parents (even righteous Christian ones) have gay children.

5. What you mean is that homophobic Christians like yourself won't be able to force your ideas of right and wrong upon everyone else, and that's the real reason all you Christians oppose gay marriage, isn't it? You're losing your stranglehold of power over the country and you can't stand it.

An ULTA abomination?? Didn't know the bible talked about those. Being a gay parent is more abominable than killing and raping people, who knew.

In the good old days "god" didn't have a problem with polygamy, so... And rational people don't have issues with adoption or blended families. They also accept that straight people have gay/bi/trans children. And also realize that fostering prejudice and fear in kids only has a negative effect on them.

It takes a pretty sick person to believe it's better to demonize a group of people and pass on ignorance and hate. And, yes, it is hate, no matter how badly you try to dress it up to sound like concern trolling.

5 stupidly bigoted arguments against human rights, I'd call that.

1. As very few countries in the Western World are theocracies, any god's plan is completely irrelevant to what the governments decide.

2. Children tend to see that which they are used to as normal. If they are brought up with two moms or two dads, they will not think that is the least bit confusing. As most of their friends will have one mum and one dad, they will think that this is normal too. In future, there might well be methods to extract the genes from both parents and pair them together, regardless of genders involved. It might not be a "normal union", but neither are all the heterosexual involuntary childless couples who get medical help to conceive.

3. Like I said before, the views or intentions of any god is completely irrelevant in a secular nation. Btw, homosexuality is barely mentioned in the Bible, and it's mentioned along with wearing clothes of mixed fabrics and eating shellfish. In other words, selling shellfish in shops is also an "ultra abomination before God". Sexual orientation is not connected with morality in any way; all children should be kept away from the sexual acts of their parents, regardless of genders involved.

4. Ho hum... Sin is an arbitrary concept in a secular state. Homosexuality is probably inherent and the sexual orientation of the parents has no impact on it. If it had, there would be no homosexual children in families with heterosexual parents, would there?

5. What is right and wrong is determined by laws and, privately, by the Golden Rule. To normally feeling people it's easy; that which feels positive and brings joy to people around you is probably good, that which feels negative and brings sadness, anger or disappointment to people around you is probably bad. As to the stupid argument of "lifestyle"; there are just as much difference between different heterosexual families as there are between heterosexual and homosexual families.

You keep on waiting, stupid. You'll die disappointed, just like all the others who waited for Jesus have done.

1. There is nothing in the Bible that suggests this. People lived with spouses, concubines (Gideon), siblings (Joseph and his brothers), parents-in-law (Moses) etc. The nuclear family as a standard is a relatively recent, post-biblical invention.
2. Then the same is of adopted parents and stepparents. Once again the Bible, like the rest of history, suggests this is rubbish.
3. The same is true of women who wear ties, those who are foolish, those who hate, those who lie and those who offer wine at the wrong time. Hmmm.
4. How many children of gay couples do you know? Any?
5. And yet, besides demonstrating your ignorance of the Bible, you continue to lie and spread hatred about those you don't know. I don't think it's gay parents who can't tell right from wrong. More evidence to show that for fundies ethics are of little concern.
