Why bother being good in this life when there is so much to gain in the world by being bad... and nothing to lose in the end? I have yet to receive an answer that did not eventually lapse into some sort of sappy-religion. So my conclusion is that most intellectual atheists are bad guys who are just afraid to be bad.
