Why? Because you say so? There has been an islamic presence in the west for over a thousand years, it's not as if muslims have just recently left the middle east.

And what "christian nation" ould that be? One of those european nations whose constitution establish state sponsored supremacy of one christian denomination or another? Or are you referring to the US whose constitution clearly and unambiguously states that the country and it's government does not, and moreover should not, have any exclusive or inherent religious identity? And if that wasn't clear enough it as also stated, in no uncertain terms, in the Treaty of Tripoli, which was ratified unanimously, by a senate hich included many of the country's founders.
We all know what happens to Christians in Islamic countries.
Christians, muslims, and jews lived side by side for hundreds of years under the Ottoman Empire ith no problems. There are still still many ancient christian enclaves across the middle east that are not, and haven't been the target of persecution by muslims.
There are large christian populations in Lebannon, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Oman, UAE, Bahrain, Brunei, Indonesia, nearly all of West and North Africa, and until recently, Iraq. Of course I'm sure you ouldn't consider them to be True Christans(TM) because they are almost all of native African, Arabic, or Persian ancestry rather than white european americans like yourself.[/b
