The identity politics rhetoric spewed by clueless leftists thrives ...do they realize the paternalistic and insulting nature of their conclusions, that the success Asian-Americans is attributed to white people "providing them the path"? Do these nitwits realize that alienation and absolvance of earned respect will lead to another Trump victory in four years?
There are three possible reasons for ignorance displayed by Jeff Guo, the author of this article:
1. He's a self-loathing Asian-American who is disillusioned by the fact that Asian-Americans are successful despite being a *gasp!* minority in the apparently evil, intolerant America.
2. He's trying his best to appease the fascist far-left contingent who inhabit the coastal metropolitan centers.
3. Occam's Razor: He's simply suffering from lunatic delirium.

How limited your worldview has to be that you cannot imagine people disagreeing with you and need to explain it with delusions, self-loathing or attempts to appease someone.
Inb4 the inevitable "but all lib'ruls call us racists!" missing the point.
Weren't Alienation and Absolvance a vaudeville team?
And is "absolvance" an attempt at "absolution?"
I'm almost absolutely sure it is.
Effectively giving amnesty to eight million illegal immigrants. Someone's just become a SJW. Why would he do that, other than to appease others: become Politically Correct, and more than literally so, in this case?
...or has he realised that it's utterly impossible for him to fulfill any of his campaign promises? For what champion of the white right would compromise ?
Donald Fart. He's simple. His voters? They're suffering from lunatic delirium.
They'll prove that when they become Wiggy apologists for his backtracking. It's that, or hope those recounts go Hillary's way. But either way, they're fucked.

Obama failed hard in 2008 compared to what he promised, and anyone even remotely objective on the left realised that. Obama won in 2012.
Sorry, you'll have to abandon identity politics to win in 2020. Or maybe you'll just nominate Tim Kaine and Kaine will be Walter Mondale pt. 2.
"Sorry, you'll have to abandon identity politics to win in 2020."
Yep, abandon those that actually show up to support the Democrats in hope that the white men who voted for a white supremacist will be totally convinced by someone telling them that the problem isn't "the other", it's the Republicans ruining the economy...
@TimeToTurn
Actually according to politifacts Obama achieved 75 percent of his goals and promises (though for some he had to compromise). That's not too bad if you consider the extreme opposition he had to face and the problems the Bush administration left him with (and which many now blame him for falsely). Trump on the other hand is already breaking his promises left and right (most hillariously selling himself as anti-establishment and then putting lobbyists, ex-bankiers and billionaires in positions of power in his new cabinett). I don't think the comparison is legit.
"Wait....Is TimeToTurn defending Trump now?"
No, TTT is just borrowing the new theory that's suddenly popular among those that whined the entire election period because Bernie Sanders lost the Democratic primary and chose to sit out the election (or vote for the Green Party), and now that Trump won, they feel they have the moral right to waltz back into the Democratic Party and demand the party do EXACTLY what they say will "work", which in this case means "abandon identity politics" in favor of economic arguments like Bernie was doing. And when they say "abandon identity politics", they mean throw minorities under the bus in a craven attempt to cater to the racist Rust Belt Whites that just went strongly for Donald Trump.
It's looking like at least 10% of those that actually voted for Trump regret doing so already. ALREADY, he's six weeks from being swore in and backpedaling on everything they voted him in for.
It's looking like they really built up a fanatical hatred for Hillary, it could be the number one reason he was voted in was a promise to put her in jail, now that he's won he, Pence and Republicans are all saying there's nothing on her to justify such a thing. Imagine that, no case yet years of promises.
Y'all fuckin deluded idiots AGAIN!

So a false dichotomy (strengthening underdeveloped regions and civil rights are completely different domains), combined with some kind of hypocritical "Fuck me, slut!" fallacy* (condemning "the Establishment" for being opportunistic and disconnected from the voter base, then turning around to demand that the Establishment opportunistically abandons its loyal voters).
* is there a name for this fallacy?
@Pharaoh Bastethotep: Yep, that about covers it. And they've taken to lecturing minorities and women about how their problems are entirely economic and they should be empathizing with the racists in the Rust Belt who willingly voted for Donald Trump on a platform of taking their rights away.
They complained that Bernie's message didn't reach minorities (especially blacks), and when the minorities told them WHY (civil rights aren't an economic problem), they called them morons and other things like that. And now they don't understand why their attempt to take over the Democratic party to be all-Bernie's-message, all-the-time is being met with resistance by the same groups they insulted.
They ignore that Trump's win had nothing to do with economics and everything to do with racism, misogyny, anti-Semitism, and fear of "the other" taking what poor whites think is automatically theirs. They ignore that HISTORY shows the real issue a lot of these voters have is that minorities get all the benefits they get, which is why they were so gung-ho for FDR's New Deal after the Great Depression, but began to fall for Republican propaganda about it when those benefits were extended to minorities in the '60's.
