Not that I'm complaining, since this is a perfect example of raving fundyism, but hasn't this quotation been listed before on FSTDT? I could swear I've read exactly this same passage attributed to him, many months ago.

Laugh all you want, you husband-leaving child-killing witchcraft-practicing capitalism-destroying lesbians, but remember, it was capitalism that created the economic incentive to produce most of the inventions that make our lives bearable today!
I'm always amazed how the fundies seem to have adopted capitalism as a Christian value. Nowhere in the Bible does Jesus ever espouse the virtues of capitalism. In fact (oh horror!) if you pay close attention to him and his ministry...sharing everything, working as a collective, feeding the hungry, clothing the homeless, providing for others in need...Jesus seems to have been a....COMMUNIST!
I think pat saw that bumper sticker that reads "Sorry for missing church, but I've been busy practicing witchcraft and becoming a lesbian", and thought "You know, I could use that..."
