"In the beginning, there was nothing.
Then, IT EXPLODED!!"
Hee, hee! Yup. Reality.
You liberals will believe anything, wontcha?
'And from nothing came everything, and somehow via mysterious and scientifically unduplicated processes (aka "magic") male AND female were formed, and heck, wouldn't you know there just happened to be a rich variety of food and water resources to go around to sustain everything and then....."
Yeah, WE'RE the kooks!
But YOU believe in MAGIC!
Riiight.

The last Chump here is really starting to get on my nerves. It's not that he is wrong about everything, its that he's so smug about it. It's like playing a game of chess with a chimp, and losing because it's stuck my king up it's anus
I don't suppose it would help to explain that the Big Bang theory doesn't say that first there was nothing and then it exploded into everything.
Nor, I bet, would it help to explain that Christian creationists actually believe that God created everything from nothing. By magic, no less.
The most idiotic thing, Last Dump, is that you think we believe in the same Genesis story that you do but we just subtract God from it.
No one.... literally no one... believes that.
OK, I get it, you are not only physics-n-math deprived, but you seem to think that because you don't understand it, it can't be true. And you fail to see what impression that assumption makes on the rest of us. Yes, I know, you think it's clever to pull out a "gotcha" point every now and then, but trust me, nobody but your mother thinks you're clever. And she's having some grave doubts.
"You believe in nonsense like magic by default because you can't identify an original cause. We, however, take the much more rational approach of believing that the cause was not something stupid like raw magic but rather a fully conscious and all powerful magic being . Much more sensible."
Speaking of MAGIC...
Where did your god come from? MAGIC!
How did your god make everything out of nothing? MAGIC!
How did your god solve all the problems with the flood? MAGIC!
How did your god walk on water? MAGIC!
How did your god part the Red Sea? MAGIC!
How did your god rise from the dead? MAGIC!
How did your god rise into heaven? MAGIC!
How did your god heal the sick? MAGIC!
How does your god hear your prayers and know everything you are thinking? MAGIC!
EVERYTHING you believe is MAGIC!
Hee, hee! Yup. YOUR ENTIRE BELIEF SYSTEM IS MAGIC!
You idiots will believe anything, wontcha?
"In the beginning, there was nothing."
Except an omnipotent God who had been in that nothing FOREVER.
who's talking magic here?
You believe there was once nothing I believe there's always been something as does scientific theories.
Next you'll be accusing us of blind faith and calling us religious, right? C'mon get the projection out of you system.
Is your argument that an imaginary deity is not magic and that special creation by magician is not magic? Is it to project your belief in magic against science as a straw man, positing a false equivalence, the result of your attempt? For some people, like most in the iron-age, everything they don't understand is "magic".
Of course, society can only do so much and it's up to you to learn. It does not appear that you are ready with such an attitude. Then why is liberals your scapegoat when your argument is really about reality denial? It may say a lot about your alternative, especially considering the importance of the separation of church and state mandated by the Constitution. If they get their way by weaponizing ignorance, will they also attack education and knowledge? Evidence shows that it actually does.
What do you do with the fact that you're a useful idiot for institutions of corruption and abuse? What about religious people who accept facts? You're saying that they better be liberals too, if they don't want a second Inquisition, other than institutional abuse and unregulated corporate exploitation, or if they want access to education and healthcare, the right to be who they are, live in an environment that can sustain life, etc.
If all of that is for your personal gain, what does that make you?
Confused?
