Uri Geller, bends a spoon by thought only. Do you have a scientific explination for that? Can your evolution explain that? Can your theory of evolution explain how 1 man can know what the other is thinking (telepathy)?

He doesn't need any chemical of any sort. Most spoons have a weak point where the bowl meets the handle, and all he has to do is distract the audience just enough to get some leverage on that weak point. He then covers the spoon with both hands, and separates them to reveal the bend. Done properly, it can look like the bend is being put there as the audience watches. Geller was an amateur magician before he was a "psychic" and was ratted out by Johnny Carson on the Tonight Show well over thirty years ago. I can't even begin to comprehend why there are still Geller believers out there when virtually every one of his "feats" can be duplicated with the sort of sleight of hand you can learn from a book. (He is granted a small amount of dubious leeway by magicians, who consider him one of their own albeit a Dark Sider, but they apparently don't think too highly of his conjuring skills. If he didn't have the psychic gig going, he'd be a nobody whipping quarters out of someone's ear.)

Yes, you see there was once a very agressive species of spoon shaped predator that swarmed on the prehistoric plains of Africa and threatened to wipe out early Man. Unfortunately their tough, rigid hides made them impervious to our ancestors' weapons. Things looked grim until a small mutation allowed some individuals to grasp the spooniraptors between thumb and forefinger and mentally weaken their armour enough to break their backs. Obviously, this evolutionary advantage soon spread and within a hundred or so generations the spooniraptors were complete extinct. With the selective pressure gone, the ability began to dissipate under genetic drift and today only a few rare individuals like Geller still possess it.

Yes, Uri pre-bends the spoon, using sleight-of-hand, during the 'procedure'. It was exposed by James Randi. Uri can restart supposedly 'broken' watches (actually unwound ones) using just the heat of his hands to make the spring in the escape movement expand, thus make the second hand move momenntarily. Next question.

The technique known as 'Cold Reading' (a method of Social Engineering). Again, exposed by the likes of James Randi. Along with all other forms of supposed 'supernatural' powers, via him & his JREF.

Yeah. Just ask James Randi again. As to why nobody with such claimed 'abilities' has to date banged the doors of his JREF off their hinges, to willingly demonstrate such - under strict independent laboratory analysis - so as to claim his $1 million prize.

Pwn-ed indeed. I love explanations for everything; 'mysteries' destroyed. Why shouldn't everything be explained, eh fundies?!

Just ask Ted Faggard, when he was interviewed by Richard Dawkins in his documentary 'The Root Of All Evil?" Textbook example of a fundie bullshit artist destroyed by a superior Atheist.
