On Sunday, Rick Joyner presented new proof that the theory of evolution is “not only ridiculous, it’s impossible.” He claimed that there is no evidence of an entire species evolving: “You can mix a donkey and a horse and get a mule, but mules cannot reproduce. They can only reproduce after their own kind. We have no species change.” “Why would a whole theory, everything taught in our schools, be based on something that is something that is so outrageously not only ridiculous, it’s impossible,” he said.

You're a bonehead, Rick. That donkeys and horses usually don't produce fertile offspring is irrelevant, though it IS interesting that they produce viable offspring at all. One mutation at a time, Rick. Slow and steady wins the race.
1) That is animal husbandry, not evolution. It's also a fairly ignorant display of knowledge concerning animal husbandry for that matter.
2) You know the big fuss being made about deadly, antibiotic resistant new strains of viruses, right? They evolved.
That's correct Rick. Nobody thinks that two current species mix to form a new one. Instead, one existing species will diverge into two.
In other words, you literally believe the opposite of reality.
"something that is something that is so outrageously not only ridiculous, it’s impossible,” he said."
English... do you speak it?
> They can only reproduce after their own kind. We have no species change.
So "kind" and "species" refer to the same thing then. Filed for future reference.
> Why would a whole theory, everything taught in our schools, be based on something that is something that is so outrageously not only ridiculous, it’s impossible
Good point. You know, that really does sound like something no sane human being would do. So given that no one would do that, we can safely conclude that that is not what has happened. Which in turn leads us to conclude...
"...everything taught in our schools, be based on something that is something that is so outrageously not only ridiculous, it’s impossible,”
Speaking of things there is no evidence for....so you agree that we shouldn't teach any religious beliefs in schools?
You're absolutely right, Rick. That's why schools don't teach that the universe was poofed into being by a mythical sky daddy, because that would be ridiculous and impossible.
You don't have any evidence your fable is any more true than that of the Babylonians, Egyptians, Chinese, Greeks, Norse, Aztecs, etc.
"Rick Joyner is the head preacher man at MorningStar ministries. It looks to be run-of-the-mill megachurch stuff.
You can get a free copy of his e-book "Overcoming Fear" from the website. =)"
I'll give you the gist of that book and every like book from Evangelistic preachers.
"Everything in the world is evil and awful and after you but rejoice and trust in Gods protection at reasonable rates!"
On Sunday, Rick Joyner presented new proof that his intelligence is “not only ridiculous, it’s impossible.” He proved that there is no evidence of any brains in his head when he claimed, "We have no species change."

Because you are stupid and don't understand evolution.
Even more, nemo, we've observed existing species diverge into multiple new populations. There’s the interesting example of multiple speciation occurring in populations of mus musculus domesticus, occurring as the result of Robertsonian fusions altering karyotype, reported in "Chromosomes and speciation in Mus musculus domesticus", E. Capanna, R. Castigli, Cytogenetic and Genome Research 2004;105:375-384 .
Five separate new species populations arose by descent from a common ancestral population, all reproductively isolated from one another.
“Why would a whole theory, everything taught in our schools , be based on something that is something that is so outrageously not only ridiculous, it’s impossible,”
Not in schools. That's why we try so hard to have you keep that shit where it belongs; in church. So outrageously ridiculous it's impossible, indeed.
Why am I not the least bit surprised that not knowing a thing about how evolution works doesn't hinder people from criticizing it?
This one's especially bad, though. Even other young earth creationists have to be facepalming at this.
@ Paul Dirac
Okay so I made the incredibly silly mistake of using "antibiotic" as a catch-all for both antibiotic and antiviral drugs and "viruses" similarly as a blanket for every bacterial, viral, and parasitic infection but the point still stands.
"We have no species change."
...such as, say, Ray Cumfart's 'Crockoduck'?
Genetic incompatibility. Ever hear of it, Prick Joiner?
Meanwhile, MRSA. The Common Cold. Otherwise, re. the latter, the original strain would have died out after humans became immune to it.
In both cases, your entire 'Cre(a)ti(o)nism' argument - certainly post-Kitzmiler vs. Dover - is invalid .
Richard Lenski has the evidence. We win .
We need to compile a list of all of these idiots that say "There's no evolution" and distribute it to every hospital and doctor. When they get sick, they only get the antibiotics from 50 years ago, because they worked just fine back then. When they complain they're not working, all we say is "You must be evil, because these worked just fine before. Better pray to your god to cure you. We're saving the better antibiotics for those that accept evolution occurs."
Confused?
