Somewhere in the world, other people are wondering if they will make it back home alive, or if they will be beaten, shot, or blown up by religious nuts sometime during the day.
If all the religious fanatics, and I mean ALL (Christian, Muslim, Jew, Hindu, etc.), were to vanish from this planet, that would make it the greatest day of my life.

I wouldn't be happy. I'm sure Heaven is the best place in existance but what happens if you have no one you know? Not much fun.
Let's look at Universal Studios or Disney World. Fun places, right? But what if you went alone? Someone might say, "I'm the type that can make friends easily." Good for you but not everyone is like that (me for example). Without anyone, I'd might as well stick to videogames. WIth people, we can enjoy the outdoors a lot more. Maybe this is why people may be afraid to be alone.
How nice of you. You think only of yourself. How great the rapture will be for YOU. How YOU want to hurry up and reach heaven.
If I knew in a few years that I would be sent to heaven while everyone else in the world would be tortured for eternity, I would not be wanting to speed that up any. How can you pray for the worst day in the world for so many people?
EDIT - Oh I forgot:
These people believe that the rapture is the start of the final war right? The final war between God and Satan with Jesus commanding one side and the anti Christ the other side. Those left behind will be the ones fighting. Some of them right beside Jesus.
If the rapture happened I would side with Jesus, that would be my final victory. While they skipped out on the last war I will be fighting along side their savior.
