You have to understand it's hard to come up with catchy flavor names. "Decadent Capitalist" and "Workers of the World Unite" were just too hard for customers to articulate.

You can just about list their subsequent complaints after reading the first one: "We find the inequality between classes immoral". I guess somebody's been reading Das Capital by Karl Marx. Or Coconuts by Groucho Marx.

Actually there is some truth to their complaint, but in a different way. I find the entirety of the planet "immoral" and needing a Saviour. I only see two "classes": the saved and the lost. On this site we are just as disturbed by that "inequality" as B&J, but I have yet to read a post suggesting that we take our issue to the streets and act like a bunch of hooligans.

Right there, in the bible, it states that the early christians were practicing communists. They were Marxist 1800 years before Marx got around to it.

The reason poor people vote against their own fucking interests and elect Republicans- who are now the party of Class Warfare, Rich fucking the Poor- is because the rich have paid good money to convince them that hey, if you let us get richer, we might just grant you lowly Plebian a job! And hey, who knows? Maybe you could get rich as well(not)!

It's like the lottery for them. They are convinced that they have a shot of getting rich, and they're also convinced that Democrats can't give them that chance. Of course, if you actually look at the numbers, Democratic administrations increase personal wealth vastly among the lower classes, and even edge out the Republicans for increasing wealth amongst the upper classes, due to "trickle-up" economic prosperity.

Oh, and as for what's happening now, before then - when things went tits up financially worldwide - sales shot right up (oh, the irony!) of posters & T-shirts with images of Karl Marx, with the slogan 'I warned you that this would happen!'. They're now the 21st Century equivalents of posters & T-shirts put up/worn by students in the late 60s-early 70s of that classic image of Che Guevara.

Christians have been acting like a bunch of hooligans since the start of the damn religion. I don't think the Democrats are really the equivalent of Labour. The Dems insist that healthcare must be done through the private sector and the insurance-racket industry, that the social safety net should be mostly dismantled (vs. the Republicans who want it eliminated entirely), that the educational system should be shifted to place emphasis on the needs of employers rather than students, that the right to organize is overrated, that regressive taxes are fine as long as they're not too regressive, that we should publicly feel bad about racism and sexism as long as we don't do anything to address them, that heterosexuals should have special rights (but only some special rights, and they should exercise their special status with magnanimity), that public money should be shoveled to churches as long as they promise to be nice when seeing to public needs.

We don't have a center-left party in the U.S. with any nationwide representation; we have a center-right party with a centrist to center-left fringe, and a right-wing party. (Of course, we do have a whole one socialist in the Senate, now -- he caucuses with the Democrats, but he's an independent.)

A fair point, and fair enough, re. the whole two-party thing in the US (hey, the likes of Jesse Ventura was elected governor on an Independent platform, so nothing's impossible, eh? As proven by who's in the White House right now...!).

Still, the Democrats aren't the GOP. And that's good enough for me.

PROTIP: Teabaggers moan, bitch & whine about 'Liberals'. Which conclusively proves their more than infinite stupidity-based ignorance, re. their Americentricism. Why? In Japan, the Liberal Democrats are Conservatives. The Liberal Democrats (in a coalition government with David Cameron's Conservatives) here in the UK are neither right (Conservative) nor left (Labour) but 'middle-of'the-road'. In Australia, the Liberal Democrats are as right-wing as the Teabaggers in the US.

I've said it before, but it bears repeating: Americentricism. It should be illegal.

One more thing, Teabaggers et al in the US: Last night on BBC News, re the whole Euro Zone malarkey; Greece, and all that jazz, word has it that there are negotiations with Beijing, for their government to lend the EU 1 trillion.
