Beyond the icy bounds of the Southern Circle, lies a vast circular ocean, and beyond that the forbidden continent, Antichtone; any ship or plane will reach the Aether Screen and go around this landmass by accident. Admiral R. Byrd discovered that Antichtone/Atlantis had lakes, forests, mammoths and hills covered with vegetation, far inland - exactly what was seen by the Nazis during their 1938-1939 expedition.

There are vast tunnels under the Earth; some of these lead beyond the Ice Wall. Alexander the Great and his armies made use of these tunnels; so did the Nazis in many of their campaigns. This is the only way to reach Antichtone, and it is why many mammoth fossils are found in vast caverns under ground, whereas modern elephant remains tend to scatter themselves over the open plains of Africa.
