Q u o t e:
She is a creationist. Creationists are not bright people and are not fit to run the country.
To say that the Iraq War is a task from God is not acceptable, and you would be an idiot to defend that. She is dumber than any other candidate who has made it this far, ever.
Oh give me a break! Rubbish! Who are YOU to say what her faith has to be or the many who believe what she does, isn't allowed? What harm is it doing you?
So she prayed for soldiers and hoped this was a task from God they were sent on. You know, as in God, who doesn't like to see people oppressed?
You're just a God-hater and you have no right in this country, the land of religious FREEDOM.

I agree, to an extent. If her beliefs influence her to deny me my rights, though, I have a problem with it.
"So she prayed for soldiers and hoped this was a task from God they were sent on. You know, as in God, who doesn't like to see people oppressed?"
What about Somalia? WHERE IS YOUR GOD?
"You're just a God-hater and you have no right in this country, the land of religious FREEDOM."
Religious freedom = freedom from religion. Yes, it was stupid to say "All creationists are stupid D=", but it was also stupid of you to say that people who don't agree with you don't belong here. So fuck the hell off.
You're just a God-hater and you have no right in this country, the land of religious FREEDOM.
Dammit, I just got my irony meter repaired!
Well, you're right that no one has any right to demand anyone be of any faith, you're wrong to say some one doesn't belong in a land of freedom, be it for claiming such a thing or for pointing out something that is pretty genuine, that we should not take to wars as if they were missions granted to us by gods.
You're just a God-hater and you have no right in this country, the land of religious FREEDOM.
I'm an American, and I have a right to this country. Fuck off.
"You know, as in God, who doesn't like to see people oppressed?"
Unless he's doing it himself, of course!
You're just a God-hater and you have no right in this country, the land of religious FREEDOM.
You bitch about religious freedom, then you tell him to leave the country because of what he said (freedom of speech). And he has ever right to be a "God hater" just as much as you have the right to be a God Lover. My irony meter just imploded!
[Oh give me a break! Rubbish! Who are YOU to say what her faith has to be or the many who believe what she does, isn't allowed? What harm is it doing you? ]
Hypocrite. You say the exact same stuff that person does, except it's about Obama.
[So she prayed for soldiers and hoped this was a task from God they were sent on. ]
Sorry to burst your bubble kid, but W. isn't god.
[You know, as in God, who doesn't like to see people oppressed? ]
If thats true then why did he order for the torture and death of gays, athiests, and people of other religions among many others?
[You're just a God-hater and you have no right in this country, the land of religious FREEDOM. ]
Freedom of religion also means freedom from religion.
[So she prayed for soldiers and hoped this was a task from God they were sent on. You know, as in God, who doesn't like to see people oppressed?]
It's funny then how your God has yet to send American troops on an incursion into Burma, Turkmenistan, Zimbabwe, or North Korea. Or for that matter, your ally Saudi Arabia, where apostasy potentially carries a penalty of public beheading.
Sarah Palin is abysmally dim, and her religious beliefs have nothing to do with it.
If God doesn't like to see people oppressed, then why the Hell would he send troops to Iraq?
Both posts are wrong in their own way. The first is over generalizing. I may be an evolutionist, but I still disagree with this line:
"Creationists are not bright people and are not fit to run the country."
But the second person isn't much better:
"You're just a God-hater and you have no right in this country, the land of religious FREEDOM."
More over generalization....and do I detect a hint or irony as well?
<<I may be an evolutionist,
Pray tell, what is an 'evolutionist' ?
<<but I still disagree with this line:
<<"Creationists are not bright people and are not fit to run the country."
Creationists are not bright people, and are most certainly not fit to run the country. Any country. Or anything.
What is wrong with you united statesians ? Anyone so clearly denying reality is not fit for any kind of leadership. Period.
Actually it's the land of FREEDOM.
I don't hate any god, it's thier (2500+) fan clubs that pis me off.
Besides, if you DO fall out with your present god, you can soon invent another.
I've never seen anyone backpeddal as fast as fundies on topics when it suits their desires. God, who doesn't like to see people oppressed. Give me a fucking break. The last line makes me laugh. So 'god-haters' (I take it she means atheists/agnostics) have no right to this country, the land of religious freedom. That means freedom FROM religion just as much as it does freedom to chose ones religion. Idiot.
You know, as in God, who doesn't like to see people oppressed?
...Unless of course, they're being oppressed by people acting in the name of said deity. In which case, all is well.
"What harm is it doing you?"
She opnly mocks science and doesn't think abortion clinc bombers are terrorists. If she becomes VP it will harm all Americans, and what America does affects us in the rest of the world.
"What harm is it doing you? "
A retard with nuclear launch codes could do a bit of harm.
"You know, as in God, who doesn't like to see people oppressed? "
So god is opposed to prop 8 in CA?
"You know, as in God, who doesn't like to see people oppressed?
You're just a God-hater and you have no right in this country..."
My irony meter...it was brand new...
You know, as in God, who doesn't like to see people oppressed?
Is this the same God who routinely punished His chose people, the Israelites, with plagues, famine, slavery, and unwinnable wars?
"You know, as in God, who doesn't like to see people oppressed?"
REALLY. Then why the f*ck are you trying to oppress gays and give them less rights!
You know, as in God, who doesn't like to see people oppressed?
YOU'RE RIGHT--I DON'T LIKE SEEING PEOPLE OPPRESSED. I'M ONLY HAPPY WHEN I'M DOING THE OPPRESSING.
"You're just a God-hater and you have no right in this country, the land of religious FREEDOM."
Well, according to the Bill of Rights and the First Amendment of the US Constitution, Briele, you FAIL.
God doesn't like to see people oppressed? Bullshit, he endorsed slavery and basically told the Jews, "Here's some miracles, but I'm upping the difficulty."
/You know, as in God, who doesn't like to see people oppressed?/
Really? Wow, this God sounds like a nice guy. Then why are you people bombing abortion clinics, protesting gay parades and weddings, supporting the bombing of foreign countries, and telling women that they should all stay in the kitchen? Contradiction, much?
Religious freedom - it doesn't mean what you think it means
Also, "God, who doesn't like to see people oppressed?", which god would that be, because it surely doesn't sound like any I know.
God doesn't like to see people oppressed. What you all forget is that women, gays, the poor, foreigners, and anyone with dark skin or a different religion aren't really people, so God smiles on their oppression! Only real people can be oppressed, and the only real people are... are... oh damn, I forgot who they are this week.
Confused?
