For Creationist always complaining that nobody has ever seen a human evolve, apparently we've found one.?
Answer : And you call that evolution? Evolution is a bird coming from a fish. Or singles cells joining together to make more complex cell structures. If you don't believe me just read the evolutionary text books from the early 50's. What a load of nonsense!

Creationist: Show us proof of evolution.
Scientists: Okay the peppered moth incident from the Industrial Revolution is proof of evolution.
Creationist: No it's not, that's just adaptation. Show us proof of apes turning into man.
Scientist: Okay, well we have all these hominid fossils.
Creationist: That's not evolution, show us a fish turning into an elephant!
Scientist: Okay now that's not evolution.
How about YOU read the most current basic high school biology textbooks? Science, yes, evolves. It changes with new evidence and new theories. That's the good thing about science, it isn't written in stone and immutable.
"Answer : And you call that evolution? Evolution is a bird coming from a fish."
No, that's insanity in the guise of a creationist straw man.
"Or singles cells joining together to make more complex cell structures."
Well, that's evolution in a general sort of sense I guess. I'll give you a half point.
"If you don't believe me just read the evolutionary text books from the early 50's."
From the '50s? What, the 1850s? Science in general, and in particular biology, have come a loooong way in the last 50 fucking years.
I'm afraid I'll have to take your half point away now for being so ill informed.
"What a load of nonsense!"
Your post? Yes, I thought so too.
"If you don't believe me just read the evolutionary text books from the early 50's. "
Or you could read the christianity textbooks fram any time in the last 160 years. They contain the same distortions of science, generation after generation.
I would draw this moron's attention to the slime mould. Usually it is unicellular, but in certain conditions they aggeeagte together and go walkies (or slitheries to be more accurate). They're likely to be closely related, maybe genetically identical, so it is a survival feature where some of them will survive and reproduce.
It/they also have twice the intelligence of Mr Answer
Single cells joining to make complex structures eh???
I suggest you look up the Portugese Man'O'War.
Oh and evolution from the 50s is out dated. Evolution from the 90s is getting outdated...
We could invent a time machine, take these people back to the beginning, follow evolution from the primordial soup up to modern day, and they would still say "that's not evolution".
It's old and I can't even bother responding to it anymore.
Oh, and if I had to pick a favourite decade it would of been the 70's. Highest wages for workers, low unemployment, sexual revolution, AIDS hadn't been figured out yet, life was good.
Confused?
