"The long-term goal of Christians in politics should be to gain exclusive control over the franchise. Those who refuse to submit publicly to the eternal sanctions of God by submitting to His Church's public marks of the covenant--baptism and holy communion--must be denied citizenship, just as they were in ancient Israel."
Gary North, Political Polytheism: The Myth of Pluralism (Tyler, TX: Institute for Christian Economics, 1989), p. 87.

Two responses to this:
1. Why do you hate freedom?
and,
2. Isn't that exactly what the Beast of the Revelation is going to do, according to your Wholly Babble? YOU'RE THE ANTICHRIST!!!!!!1

Fundies = MacDonalds?
Since the US isn't a Christian nation, you have a snowballs' chance in hell of pulling this shit off.
Sounds like a pretty good idea actually... give the fundies their own state, let them do as they please, and see how they do. As in, not here.
We really should run with this idea. The number of times i've heard somebody bewailing the amount of stupid people they have to put up with is staggering, and yet here is a spokesman for American stupid people volunteering a way of solving the problems caused by his people. Seperating the wheat from the chaff, if you will. You Americans should elect Gary North as president and grab the chance to live somewhere else. Just slap a childproof cap on the nuclear launch system before you go and things will be great!
@ Septic Sceptic
I've come up with that solution too. I figure if we move all of the reasonable Americans to Canada, and let the fundie Canadians all Move to the States. Then build a wall (I'm sure we can find volunteers for this on both sides of the border).
As long as somebody "slaps a childproof cap on the nuclear launch system" We can turn off all the taps of our resources heading south and keep them for ourselves. God will take care of them.
Taking advantage of the civil liberties you have been granted by the democratic society you're lucky to live in to, in effect, call for their abolition is deeply, profoundly, horribly dishonest.
On top of which... "Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world." (John 23:36a) Therefore, trying to establish his kingdom here on Earth is dreadfully misguided, even for Christians.
Read your effin' book before spouting dangerous nonsense like that!
It's funny for two reasons:
a)that experiment was actually carried out in the past. America, indeed, was the response to that system. Signal that it didn't work.
b)Israel was not precisely a paradise, not even for the time's standards.
c)Like 99% of the religions and ideologies of the world have the same ambition BUT complain when they're the victims of the said system.
Draw your own conclusions.
The USA is supposed to be a democratic country.
You are proposing a Theocracy, which is against the principles of the Founding Fathers. You are therefore treacherous and treasonous. You have betrayed your country to an enemy!
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
