THEY might be born that way, but the children aren't. Gays and lesbians are attracted to other consenting adult gays and lesbians. If pedophiles want to have sex with other adult pedophiles, go right ahead, I'd say.

Yes, pedophiles probably are "born that way" but informed consent always trumps biology. Consenting adults having sex with each other harms no one. An adult having sex with a child alway harms the child. Understand now?
Whether or not paedophiles are "born that way", a child cannot give informed consent and thus sexual contact with a child will always be a crime. Gay, trnasgender, lesbian, bisexual etc do not equal paedo.
The real issue is informed consent not whether someone is born that way.
And besides that there is ample evidence that being molested as a child can increase the odds of someone choosing to molest children in adulthood. So then they are NOT born that way.

Agreed to an extent. Through research it has been confirmed that sexuality and gender identity is beyond a person's control, as the homosexuals and transgendered knew, which counteracts the constant claims over it being a lifestyle choice from the bigots. Whilst it shouldn't be used as a definitive point when arguing for homosexuality to be accepted, it is an acceptable position, in my eyes, to argue for this whenever a fundie turns their nose up at the suggestion that it is natural, innate, and an in-born trait. Of course, during such a debate, it may be needed to distinguish the difference between arguing for the reasons why people are homosexual and the morality of it, since the homophobes struggle with such (because if they accept it's innate and natural they have no reasonable standing to oppose it, of course).
