i have not read all these replies.. but the way i see it with the Big bang is... if the big bang happened, why are we not see lots of life created in Iraq with all the bangs going off there?

I ate Mexican earlier and anticipate several big bangs later in the evening (yes, I'm gross). I'll be sure to check for new life, proof of evolution and a way to silence once and for all those pesky creationists.

Sorry, but those aren't the kind of bangs that create life. Those usually happen only behind closed doors and certainly don't do as much damage (and they generally don't make quite as much noise, though some is to be expected if the folks involved are really enjoying themselves).

Wow. I can't believe how idiotic some people are. Even as a Christian, I am horrified at the stupidity of this. The big bang was large enough to start the universe, and it didn't create life. A freakin IED isnt going to start a whole new universe. When God started the universe, He made a singularity explode with a huge amount of force. The "bangs" happening from gunshots and explosions have nothing to do with the Big Bang.

First, the Big Bang is not the origin of life. That happened way, WAY later. Second, to think that any explosion in Iraq, hell, even a complete unloading of each and every one of our nuclear weapons could come close to a fraction of the power that the Big Bang was theorized to have produced is foolish at best.
Surely a troll? Not even the dumbest fundie can be this monumentally stupid.
However, in case he/she is for real - why not blow yourself up and see what happens? No new life would be created, but the average IQ of the human race would rise appreciably.
