Heh. Since fundamental Christians like to bitch so much about evolutionists, atheists, heathens, pagans, agnostics, abortionists, and everyone else who doesn't agree with you, why don't you start buying land where you can create your Christian paradise on earth? I'm sure it will be a paragon of moderation and tolerance.
You know, that's actually not such a bad idea. Naturally, we would let in the theists who weren't busy trying to oppress and/or kill everyone else.

Yeah, I'm sick of having those bitching atheists knocking on my door, trying to force their beliefs on me. And then there's that guy who stands in the High Street on Saturday afternoons waving a copy of 'The Origin of Species' and bitching about how none of us are going to Hell because it doesn't exist. And don't get me started on those street-corner atheists collecting to send missionaries to bitch to people in benighted countries where they've never heard of atheism......
what good would it do? atheistvania wouldn't even exist for minutes before it was stampeded by missionaries.

Not likely. There's the issue that just about everyone understands that communism on a large scale is unworkable, given human nature. If Marxist communism (which shares a name with Soviet-style communism and not much else) actually worked the way Marx thought it would, it probably *would* be a paradise. Trouble is that, human nature being what it is, Marxism falls apart almost immediately, either by lack of production or by turning totalitarian to prevent lack of production.
(besides, based on biblical texts wouldn't jesus have been pretty keen on communism?)

A place without fundies, hmmm... Sounds fucking GREAT to me!! I think I'll buy a gigantic island and invite all the intelligent folk (no, not you christians) to live there. No war, insanity, stupidity, and best of all, no FUNDIES! Excellent idea, Tuco, but fundie fucks like YOU would set it on fire.
I've met very few communist atheists. And I like capitolism. Besides, if I were to create a paradise basing it on atheism would be setting a short goal. There's more to paradise than a position on God. I can't get along with most of my fellow atheists anyway.
I just want the rest of you people to know that I absolutely love this site and enjoy very much being among intelligent human beings. I spent a lot of time as a troll on christian sites (I love being provocative!) just listening to their incoherent babble and then make fun of them endlessly. But I discovered it always falls on deaf ears and the most satisfaction I get is eternal damnation. Tdevil was my alias in my crusades thru christian forums, but I feel quite at home with you people now. I have been on this site for a couple of days now, and I already consider you people family. Fundies are everywhere, damn it!

Because there's no need to. Capitalism is just one economic system like many others. Feudalism and the slave economy each lasted far longer than capitalism has so far.

They've tried, repeatedly, it always wars with itself, it always creates dictatorships and warlord states. Smart Christian know this is the best system they've even existing in. The laws protect their religion and the excesses it would enact if not for those laws. Freedom has NEVER been a product of Christianity.
You're living in our world. And stop if with this idea communism ever banned Christianity or they're opposites, it controlled its totalitarian agendas. Why do you think Putins working with the Russian orthodox church? Do you idiots think they magically reappeared a few years ago? They've always been part of the system
