Science is all about God. he created the physical properties of all things. Please, do tell us why there is a crack almost halfway areounf the earth (Mid-Atlantic Ridge) and the Bible tells us God opened the fountains of the deep. Hint: water is still coming out of the ridge.

@Nutz: I agree. Get them to investigate, up close. Send em right on down there, in a submarine, beneath thousands of feet of water. Where the pressure is enough to crush just about anything.
Go back to Physical Geology 101. New sea floor, in the form of basaltic lava, is forming at rift zones like the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. Some water, in the form if steam, does come out of andesitic volcanoes, but they form along subduction zones. The water is not new water, but water that has been carried down toward the mantle by the subducting oceanic plate. This causes the explosve eruptions in the Andes, Mexico and Central America, Indonesia, the Eastern Carribbean, and the Mediteranean.

See, what's at the bottom of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge...is the ocean floor!
And what's coming out of it...is sulfiric gas!
They already explored the Mid Atlantic ridge... Repeatedly.
And it's molten hot Magma that's coming out of the ridge, not water.

Tectonic plates? You want to know why? Because the liquid core moves, causes pressure, friction, moving the plates.
