You think your precious "Gravity" exists?
[Body of OP]
Then why can't you feel the gravity from the sun?

It's your precious "Gravity," too. Be grateful that Newton invented it. Otherwise, we'd still be floating around like in the biblical times, stoned out of our minds.
If you can feel the tides, you can feel the sun's and moon's gravity.
Why can't you feel the tides? Are you dense?
For the curious, a quick calculation shows that the effect of the Sun's gravity, felt from the surface of the Earth, is about 0.0006 G.
The effect of the Moon from the surface of the Earth, is about 0.00000333 +/- 0.0000001 G (depending on which side of the Earth you're on with relation to the Moon).
Also, don't forget the fluctuation of the Earth's own gravity, which varies not just with altitude and distance from the center, but it also varies with latitude due to the shape of the Earth (it isn't perfectly spherical). Atop Mount Everest, gravity is only 0.72 G. At the north and south poles, it's about 1.0044 G. There are also measurable differences in gravity depending on the local geology-- whether you're over the ocean or land, the composition of the ground, etc.
@758425: That picture is terrifying. It was a while before I spotted the "1 cor" bit. Please don't ever show me that picture again. Christians knowing a bit of teenage-level calculus are more powerful than anything you can ever imagine.
To other christians, they sound like "REAL scientists"
*shudders*
Because... I have a very small mass compared to, like, the Earth.
Whereas the EARTH!
Is much closer to me!
AND THEREFORE..
Do you want me to fucking make a movie for you?
I have this freshly compiled Newtonian gravity simulation, I could throw in some fucking vectors and explain it to you math and shit if you want.
Um...orbit? O-R-B-I-T. "n. the curved path, usually elliptical, described by a planet, satellite, spaceship, etc., around a celestial body, as the sun." Pretty sure that's gravity.
If the gravity field is homogeneous enough, you cannot observe it at all; you can only feel the reaction forces of stuff trying to keep you from falling freely in it. If you fall freely, you don't feel gravity at all; jump from a safe height and feel it in your stomach for yourself. Orbiting a source of gravity is a particular case of free fall in its field. Conclusion: we don't feel the gravity from the Sun because we are in a free fall in its gravitational field, and not because it is weak or anything. Its intensity or the Sun's distance from us does not matter at all, as long as we orbit it freely.
Because we've adapted to the way our planet is. On any other planet, we'd probably feel conscious of the gravity as its pull would feel "wrong".
Edit: Barbarian. Damn, science!! :O That made my head hurt a little.
After reading all 7 pages of the thread, I can barely resist logging into the WoW -forums and debunking the crap out of that kid. The kid claims gravity is a stupid idea and it doesn't exist, but he can't even demonstrate why his opponents are wrong. Without giving a proper reason, the kid calls everyone who "believes" in gravity an idiot. I MEAN LOOK AT THESE DAMN QUOTES:
"Wrong.
I love how you assclowns don't even know how your stupid "Gravity" works, and yet you defend it so much."
"We're accelerating upward, dip**#*."
"Oh my god, rofl. You gravitationalists are the dumbest people to walk the face of this planet."
"I'm going to go kill myself now. I had no idea people were this dumb, and I don't want to be living in a cesspool of this kind of filth."
I think it's either a flat earth nut or an expanding earth nut. A stupid little kid who skips science classes to play that life-destroying virtual drug, World of Warcraft.
Yet Yui can feel the ¥500,000:

Your argument is invalid.
Well, beat me on the bare botty with wet Udon noodles, and call me Sawako-sensei! Aren't you just precious , Lixler! Now you run along to Science class...!
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
