The sensual inflections of the female voice are sinful. I won't attend a church with worldly music, where people close their eyes, put their hands in the air, and sway side-to-side. Instead of singing the soul-stirring hymns of the Christian faith, they sing garbage like, “Praise Him! Praise Him! Praise Him! Praise Him Praise Him,” over and over and over. It's a form of mesmerization, entertainment, carnal, fleshly, not glorifying to the Lord.
There's a big popular Four Square Church in Honolulu, Hawaii, who sing Marvin Gaye's song, “What's Going On?” They teach Lordship Salvation and most of the women wear sexy pants and tight skirts. This is the nightmare that people call “church” these days. I hate dead churches! The average church today is more like a Bruce Springsteen concert than the house of God. CCM is of the Devil.

I went to a Christian school c/w hymns and all the other trappings. The lyrics quoted sound like this particular one (which I haven't thought about in 30 years - thanks Dave), which is about as un-contemporary as you can get.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e5PAW2lMqs0 Still, I only hear an organ, and not some nonce on a steel guitar.
Remember that Davie worships his own ego. As such, his own dislike of the music at his own church is an offense to his god, because he is indistinguishable from a god.
At least, that's the impression I got of him.
It must have been hard for Davey to get through a rant about how evil the female voice and popular music are and not mention Taylor Swift.

If this were in any way true I might be inclined to actually attend once in a while.

Mainly because you've been thrown out of the ones on Guam, in which they didn't .
Must be a lonely life for you there: your one-man denomination, rather like that of a certain - now extinct from FSTDT - fundie troll...!
Once again, Davey is not only a moron; but one who can't stay on topic.
He starts out with an opening statement about how women's fucking voices are sinful. Then goes into a rant about "worldly music" that has nothing to do with his opening statement.
Then sways back and forth between talking about how people in a church in Honolulu sing a song he doesn't like; and his favorite subject of all time: the sinful nature of pants.
If I had to grade Davey's essay, I'd give it an F. And only because F- is not on the actual grading scale.
“The sensual inflections of the female voice are sinful.”
I knew you had a kink for the computer’s voice on the Enterprise!

Praise him is Carnal… Maybe you should take your pillow to church, fuck it and be safe for the rest of the service?

Do they really? Or is it just that you find women in pants extremely sexy? And any skirt that’s not a hoop skirt shows just too much of the woman’s form?
Well, sexy women are sexy women, it's difficult for them to hide it. It's also normal for them to seek to attract. You may not be aware, but there's also a variety of porn centered around clothing, including non-revealing, it can be part of teasing. Then healthy men, like healthy women, have libido, it's normal. What may be abnormal and unhealthy and even leading to perversions are obsessions and puritanic related ignorance.
It's possible that there's a problem with you and that education and therapy could help. It likely affects your social and personal relationships. It also makes you intolerant of some social settings. Admitedly, humans are strange and so are their traditions. I personally find gospel dancing churches hilarious. Well, I'm not into that either. It doesn't make me demonize it.
Then I'm a musician who can appreciate a little of everything in terms of music. Including the ritual music of various religions. Some of them are very rhythmic and exploit some human sensitivities that permit to have strong sensations. They also use that for strong social cohesion and to promote mystic experiences. I don't believe in spirits so understand those experiences in a human and psychological way.
Why not stay home or go at another church, instead of imposing your own bigotry on everybody and limiting their experiences? It's like people who can't tolerate noise, perhaps because of a condition. They can't always get their way and quiet society around them.
Confused?
