Because wanting to make sure that people are treated with a basic amount of respect and dignity, that they have access to services they need simply to live, is evil.

As well as wanting to adjust the current way of life into something that actually works for the current situation (capitalism really took off in the 1800's when about 3% of the world population lived in cities. Now 50% lives in cities and it's becoming clear that our habit of placing consumption in our highest priority is hurting us in this situation since it's becoming more and more difficult to support it what with the dwindling population of people gathering the resources needed to make the goods we love to consume).

You are a terrible person. You've claimed on another post that you'd love the chance to kill liberals so the fact that you feign outrage over fetuses without even brain cells is just rich. Well, taking the lives of fully developed people with complex relationships and obligations is far worse than killing a clump of cells that lack neurons and thus any capacity to suffer. In fact, you cause more suffering by swatting a fly than by having a legal abortion. And it's hilarious how those who are most vehemently 'pro life' also have no problem killing others in war including your sick masturbation fantasy of all-out civil war in the US with those that simply disagree with you, which causes millions of times more suffering than even a late-term abortion (which is illegal except in an emergency such as an ectopic pregnancy). Again, go fuck off you twat.

I'd say it's the ones trying to tell others what they think, that are the haters. If you hate other people, you hate the images of God, ergo you hate God. To be good is to treat others with kindness and respect; "that which you do to the least of my people, you do unto me".

It can't be good for your digestive system to be this hate-filled. Please relax, and try a bit of tenderness and love once in a while. OK?

Having worked with several liberals in my lifetime, I can say from personal experience that not one of the liberals I have ever met, was a gOd hater.
Not one hated ANYTHING good.
Not one hated anything at all.
Not one was a "minion" of ANY god.
And not one had a "high lord" to make any move for darkness for.

The liberal candidate I voted for in two consecutive provincial elections, was an ordained minister in the presbyterian church, and a noted humanitarian.
The liberal I voted for in three consecutive federal elections, was a schoolteacher, and a noted humanitarian.

But because of this, I must tell you that your idea of "if liberals didnt hate god FSTDT wouldnt exist" is incorrect. I am hardly liberal. Well, being a libertarian, perhaps some of my ideas would seem quite liberal to you. I think most that know me would consider me "conservative". Never the less, I love this site.
I typically dont comment on the blithering idiot political post. And to be fair, I have met many blithering idiots of both liberal and conservative fashion. It just seems the conservative types rant on the net the most.
But I absolutely love the religious dogma on display here. Reading it and thinking of comments for them is good exercise in critical thinking.
DOS, I view this more as a site to encourage people to think. And to, in a strange way, insight people to not be stupid in their daily lives.

Siggggghhhh... you really need to look up the term Hypocrite DOS. I assure you it does not mean what you think it means. Hypocrites are people who say one thing or support one idea... then turn around and do the opposite or support something entirely opposite of what they supported simply for their own gain and themselves. Ill have you know... in NO WAY am I hypocritical just because I believe in God but also believe in the freedom of choice for all peoples and equal rights. Since you seem like the Bible Devouring type.. why dont you look up your good buddy Jesus Christ. He was LIBERAL and had LIBERAL ideas and beliefs. He too supported FREEDOM OF CHOICE. And if you dig a little deeper you will also find.. so does the Christian God. Apparently he gave us all FREE WILL right? To do as we please regardless of what he thinks or wants us to do? That way we are free to choose what we think is right or wrong or to choose to love him or not. I CHOOSE MY FREEDOM AND TO LOVE GOD AT THE SAME TIME. How is this "hypocritical?" Ive got some rather disappointing news for you DOS...Jesus and God in the Bible teach you to NOT HATE thy neighbor but... say it with me now... "LOOOOOVE thy neighbor as yourself" and to love God. I could care less if leftists take me seriously, as nothing will convince them to see things different, nothing that is from a religios or non moraly relative point of view. If you honestly like liberals are open to anything the conservatives say, your a fool. FOr that reason conservatives are under no obligation to be open to anything the left says.

Poor Immanuel Kant--to bad he spent all that time writing about the Moral and Categorical Imperative, only to fail to see that moral relativism/change your ethics to suit your needs would dominate the modern west.

And just for your info, atheist dont hate gawd any more than we hate the easter bunny. Neither of them exists. I guess somebody somewhere does hate the easter bunny, but that is a bit silly, as it doesnt exist. I realize some xians love to fascinate that we atheist hate gawd, but then we would not be atheist. Hating gawd assumes a belief in the same. One of these days, perhaps that simple concept can be understood.

Just for fun, how would you answer the proposed issue brought up earlier? When your gawd said "to love your neighbor as yourself". How do you rationalize your professed hate of people? Can you relate this to the xian love of agape'????
