Heh. I learned all of that for free. By reading a books. In the Library. Books written by serious scientists. Books with facts and citations and exhaustive explanations of the processes and technologies used to arrive at the conclusions.

I'm sorry, I had no idea radiometric dating worked through circular reasoning.
I thought it had to do with measuring the ratio of radioactive atoms to normal atoms in dead bones and calculating the amount of time the bone has been dead by knowing the decay constant for said radioactive material and the known radioactive/normal ratio of all living tissue. Silly me.
Oh yeah, I forgot. I'm British, so I don't see much of O'Reilly, but I've seen him cut off a debate when he's losing. And he can't argue for shit.

What you mean he 'expels' his opponents from the debate when they 'question' his arguments too closely? Someone tell CactusLove, he hates people who do that!
Circular reasoning? We know the Tyrannosaurus is 60 million years old because the rocks it comes from have been dated to be 60 million years old, and we figured that out by using mutliple dating techiniques. And then we back that up dating the fossil as well with the same technique.
Oh and the Bible is based on circular reasoning.
Using the universal truth that Bill O'Reilly is never, ever right, we can conclude that CurtusLove is full of shit. Also, his name sounds like a minor character in "Superfly".
I'm assuming that the "circular reasoning" comment comes from the ancient and quite breathtakingly idiotic creationist assumption that "the fossils date the rocks and the rocks date the fossils". In otherwords, that scientists at some point made up some numbers and then rolled with it.
People like this are embarrassing to the species.
