as a Christian there are some rights not afforded to us.
[Um, which rights exactly?]
How about the right to return violence with violence? Or how about the right to be pompous and arrogant and self-righteous?
There are many people that can and are afforded the opportunity to act in the above ways. Christians are given no such luxury.

You know, given how many violent, pompous, arrogant, and self-righteous christians (and, make no mistake: based on this quote, I think it's safe to say that you're at least self-righteous, if none of the others) I see, I find it difficult to believe that christians are given no such luxury.
Death by Irony Overdose, I think.

Newsflash, dimwit, if you live in a democratic country you have the exact same rights as every other citizen of said country. Religion-based restrictions are purely self-imposed.
How about the right to return violence with violence?
Either someone forgot to tell the oh-so-Xian Chimpy George about this one, or he somehow misunderstood it to mean that he should use ultraviolence against people who didn't even attack him in the first place....
Or how about the right to be pompous and arrogant and self-righteous?
Xians may not have invented self-righteous arrogance, but the fundies among them sure seems to do their darndest to corner the market.
How about the right to return violence with violence?
No one has such a right, except for acting in self-defense at the time of the violent act. (And you still have the right to do so regardless of your religion; you may just choose not to exercise it.)
Or how about the right to be pompous and arrogant and self-righteous?
Like you just did?
Wow, this guy believes he is being oppressed because he is not allowed to beat the shit out of people?
And not allowed to act "pompous and arrogant and self-righteous?" What the hell? That's all these fundies ever do!
And I would like to know which groups of people have been given permission to be violent.
"'How about the right to return violence with violence'
That isn't a right afforded to anyone, asshole."
In America it is, to an extent. It's called self defense. And Christians have as much right to it as anyone else, as far as the law is concerned. If they choose not to exercise that right, that's all on them.
Let´s go in parts. Are they rights?, because you CLAIM FOR IT SO MUCH, that I think that you´re being at least honest. Well, you´re a troll.
Or how about the right to be pompous and arrogant and self-righteous?
Gee, if fundies lost the right to be pompous and arrogant and self-righteous, this site would die for lack of entertaining material.
You can be as pompous, arrogant & self-righteous all you want. Just don't blame anyone else when you're not getting invited to parties anymore. Or when the neighbors wait til you go on vacation to hold their annual block party. Or when the boss sends you on "special assignments" just to get you out of the office. Or if they fire you for being a cancer in the workplace.
How about the right to return violence with violence?
There is no such vaguely stated right as that for anyone within any civilised nation. The specific, limited case of non-premeditated, proportionate self-defence is allowed just about everywhere, for a somewhat variable level of "proportionate" based to some degree upon the nation's general character.
The only thing that explicitly forbids Christians from any violent response at all is "Turn the other cheek," which is a directive from within their own religion at the suggestion of no less than the highest authority of any that they recognise.
Or how about the right to be pompous and arrogant and self-righteous?
Freedom of speech. Everywhere you or I would consider civilised has it. Of course, that you have the right to be an arsehole doesn't automatically mean people won't be pissed off if you exercise it.
As you're obviously pompous, arrogant and self-righteous right now, you definitely have the opportunity to act in the above ways.
You do have the right to defend yourself against attacks, but you can't use more force than the attacker, or you're suddenly attacking him/her/them instead.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
