"Yeah, the radio seems to be the biggest problem. I majorily struggled with the radio because I would be driving along and it was too easy to just turn it on to the country station."
Well, you fundies are struggling to enter the 20th Century, never mind the 21st (you've only just caught up with the UK, re. Healthcare; our NHS, and all that jazz). Still relying on Medium Wave (AM) transmissions - analogue?! For a few years now, I've been using DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting) radio. I have three: a standard 'trannie' type; both battery & mains-powered. A PURE Pocket 2000 'iPod'-esque number that can record DAB programmes onto SD cards (and play MP3s via the same). And a pocket combo 1 Gb MP3 player/DAB radio.
The advantages are obvious: far more stations to choose from (some of which are based in other parts of the country, region-wise; impossible to receive via ordinary analogue radio), and crystal-clear digital sound (believe me, once you go DAB, you never go back; even FM sounds average in comparison).
...did I say 'far more stations to choose from'? Apparently there's a handful of religious stations available via DAB. Now, I don't know if it's due to poor transmission from the specific multiplexing coverage of the companies who transmit such, but I can get almost every other station on DAB - except said religious ones. Or mayhaps your so-called 'God' doesn't want tme to hear them?
Your 'God' made me an Atheist. Who are you to question his will?
...oh, and our government will be shutting down all our ancient analogue radio transmitters in 2014. Permanently. (around about the same time analogue TV is being shut down; I've had a Freeview digital decoder box for six years now. Far more channels than ordinary UHF signals).
