Thinking plant milks are weird and disgusting,
But drinking the breast milk of another species as adults is not weird or abhorrent at all.

Humans are omnivores. I don't think "plant milk" is disgusting. I do, however, know it isn't sufficiently nutritious to feed a baby (unlike animal milk), and infants have been known to die of malnutrition when fed plant milks as a diet by their veganism-as-a-religion parents. If you want to be faddish, practice on your own body, not that of innocent children.

I can't say I have a strong opinion about that either way.

Well, yeah, that is kind of weird.
But then so is taking the seeds of various grasses, grinding them into powder, mixing it into a paste with water, infecting it with fungus, waiting until it swells up with waste products from decomposition, heating it up, and then eating it.
You know, breast milk (of any creature) is meant to be consumed. That's literally its only purpose. So, yes, it's not that weird.
The only reason we're not drinking human breast milk is because we can't produce nearly enough of it. That and it's to easy too spread diseases that way.
You don't think adults should be drinking milk? Well, I don't think adults should be eating Pop Tarts, but I know plenty who do, and I somehow resist the urge to go on a moral crusade about it.
Your dietary preferences are just that: YOURS.
You go live in a stone-age early farming community, see how picky you can be.
I don't "get" almond or coconut milk, I think they're pretty gros. In fact, I think skimmed milk is pretty gros too. Guess what? I respect the fact that other people have a different opinion from me.
Sure, when you stop to think about it, drinking milk as an adult is pretty weird and in fact the ability to digest milk properly (as an adult) is a mutation. Abhorrent? Nah, sorry. Don't see it. Though if you're into horrifying food analogies: ever thought of chickens laying unfertilised eggs as being on their periods?
I like soy, almond, coconut, and rice 'milk' just fine.
I also inherited the ability to digest cow's milk from my ancestors.
So I drink both?
Fortunately, I'm not lactose intolerant, as I am interested in food security. Where I live, you can't grow almonds or coconuts, and soy beans are iffy. Cows and goats do fine here, however.

Weird and abhorrent are both subjective reactions. Your experience is not mine.
I also am unfazed by anyone calling honey ‘bee vomit.’ Or my Boston-born shipmate who called Lobsters ‘cockroaches of the sea’ every surf ‘n turf night.
Confused?
