Says who? Most animals show some form of reasoning. Octopuses (octopi?) are quite clever in fact. If you put their favorite food into a screw top jar the octopus will eventually reason out how to unscrew the lid and get it's food. Chimps use reason in the wild to create rudimentary tools to get at food sources such as termites, etc.
I'm sure there are other examples out there. Reason isn't the sole domain of humans.

Ignoring the extremely bizarre sentence structure, monkeys can't write a screenplay for obvious reasons. Is this supposed to be some sort of argument for or against something?
