Except that Jesus didn't say a word about abortion or gays or anything in the right-wing platform that I'm aware of, and did champion many of the liberals' causes. What HAS been in freefall since you people got a stranglehold on the country is the plight of the poor and middle classes, wages, the economy, and the environment.

This is the Untied States. The actual, unsimplified symbol for our currency is a "U," superimposed over an "S." Our army has, or had, U.S. on it's belt buckle and other government issued gear. Our country is located on the North American Continent, as is Canada. There are many countries in Central, and South America.

Not getting your way 100% of the time isn't the same as every decision being against Christianity. In fact, most of those "anti-Christian" decisions you talk about (Roe v Wade, gay marriage, taking mandatory prayer out of school) were supported by other Christians. Without them they never would have had any chance. A conservative Bible-loving Christian even ruled against intelligent design in Dover. Why would they do that? Because they appreciate freedom even if they don't personally agree with certain actions.

Just a thought... if ~85% of the US is Christian (as people like to claim with the whole "we're a Christian Nation" shit) and ~54% of the US is PRO marriage equality, that means about half of the Christians are PRO marriage equality... so how could the decision go against them?

I'd argue that half the ills you claim of the world are a direct result of Christianity. Proof: Demonizing of the poor and downtrowden, worshipping of the rich (randism),removal of freedoms, racism, predudism, hatred of public knowledge,,all right-wing policies of the Christian right Republicans.
