"It does no good to debate about God because debates first-off, have to contain facts and atheists have no facts that God doesn't exist."
Blah, blah, can't prove a negative, burden of proof. Next.
"It also does no good to debate about God because the imagination doesn't determine reality."
Exactly. Just because you believe he exists doesn't mean he does. And you'll pardon those of us that need more than an archaic, poorly written, and even more poorly translated book saying he's real to take as absolute fact.
"The first pre-requisite to finding God is the ability to admit that one sins and needs a redeemer."
Okay, while SIN is an abstract indigenous to your religion, I do admit people have the capacity for good and evil. But the only "redeemer" one needs is oneself. The whole accept Jesus thing is a cop out. Own up to your wrong doings, and make amends. Don't hide on the coattails of an imaginary being.
"Atheists can't do that yet."
Sorry. I'm too busy trying to do the right thing in the first place.
"But if they could, then they would seek God, provided they have a conscience, and feel remorse for their sins."
See above. I feel a great deal of remorse for my transgressions (The ones that make sense...ie// hurt people) and as I said, actively try and make amends. Myself. To them. Not praying to a sky-daddy to make the owie on my heart go away.
"But atheists still deny they sin and in fact, even deny that sin exists."
In the form you claim it to be? Yes. Plus it sets up a bizarre dichotomy. God cannot be around sin, so anyone who sins is condemned to hell. However, the bar is set so high that it's an impossibility to achieve. So you invented a get out of free card: Jesus. But that's not good enough. For a savior of mankind, he's awful picky, and will only save you if you are his bootlick, and even then, you guys are not afraid of pull a no True Scotsman, and condemn a person for not being Christian enough (Gay Christians, for example.) So the system runs as such. A person can live a full life, giving to charities, helping little old ladies across the road, and being an all around good guy, but if he doesn't "accept Jesus," he burns. A murderer/rapist/all around bad guy can, on his deathbed, repent, say he's really sorry, and has seen the light, and, by your standards, get into heaven. Does that make sense to you?
"But nevertheless, they will never find God until they can admit they sin and feel the remorse for their actions."
See above.
"All the debating in the world won't bring them any closer to God, and in fact, will lead them farther away from admitting their sins and accepting God's love and more and more into the abyss of darkness and confusion."
When god could make it all moot and just show up. Is he really that cruel and let us burn as opposed to making this one little concession, and take 5 minutes out of an eternity, and show up?
"As Jesus tells us, "and the truth shall set you free." And the truth begins at home."
And show me this truth. Please. Because all I see is a haphazard, patchwork system, cobbled together over a few millennia to suit the people holding the pen at the time. Show me the light.
