People Hate The Blood of Jesus Christ. Notice Less Red This Christmas Season?
Maybe unclean spirits don’t want the power of red through the blood Jesus Christ sacrificed for our sins shining brightly this Christmas season and therefore they trying to faze red out of holiday celebrations.

Steve, what I think about that is that CHRISTMAS HAS ABSOLUTLY NOTHING TO DO WITH THE BLOOD OF CHRIST, EVEN IN YOUR RELIGION. It is usually held that christmas is in celebration of the birth of jesus, not the death, crucification, and reraisal. Of course, in reality, christmas actually has nothing to do with jesus at all. It started as a pagan celebration of the winter solstice, and has become a celebration of consumerism, and giving gifts for the sake of spending money. Red is probably being phased out because it doesn't go to terribly well with green, gold, or any other christmas colors.
Thats one of the main problems with your dumbass religion,the worship of violence.Christ spoke of peace and all christians remember is his violent death.The thought of being "washed in the blood" of someone is some pretty violent stuff,especially for your children.

And Jesus Christ is very real and alive and he is coming back probably shortly. Don't knock it before giving him an honest chance.
Many of us here are ex-Christians. I am one of them. Ironically, it was people like Stevangelist who led me away from religion altogether.
Do any of you read the bible? Have you EVER gone to church? It states in the bible that Christ died on the cross for our sins! That he was raised by the Holy Father! It also states that the church will be "caught up" which in latin is "rapio" hence the word rapture. Yes! Christmas is the season of giving gifts! Like the wise men gave gifts to the Christ Child upon his birth so we give to each other in rememberance of that day...so we celebrate in rememberance of that day! Im sure there are some of you in here that have been to church as children and even as an adult either with parents, grandparents, or spouses, and other family. I hope that some of you rethink what you have said.

Really? Take a look at Matthew 16:28:
Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.
That quite obviously implies that he said he would be back before all of the original disciples were dead. Guess what? He wasn't.

There have been predictions of the imminent end of the world at least since the time of Jesus - many by Christians. You might want to take a look at this site for a bit of history on the massive number of failed prophecies of doom.
And most of the "signs" that the Rapture is near are not at all uncommon events. Turmoil in the Middle East? What a shock. Take two religious groups who claim the same area as holy land, put them in the same place, and shit's gonna hit the fan. Changing weather patterns? Couldn't have anything to do with the massive increase in CO2 levels, could it?

I haven't been chronicling the usage of any particular colors during holidays, however, I do work in the paint department at Home Depot - and this December we sold a lot more New Brick and Velvety Merlot than Red Red Wine, than we may have in years before.
Actually the offical color of the christmas season in the original church (catholic) is purple. I believe it's that color to celebrate the birth of the "king" since purple is the color of royalty.
I don't remember what they use red for but it also isn't used for Easter weekend. For good friday they strip the church bare and for Easter it's white.
They are called trends, people seem to be going for white at christmas more and more. Blue seems to be second and red only shows up in tri- colored sets. It could just be that reds not so bright in energy efficient sets to.

Clearly he has never seen real blood. Real blood is initially a maroonish colour, and slowly dries through to a rusty brown. That is, it it's red blood to begin with. Sometimes it looks purplish. Blood and wine are not the same colour.
Sure, there were a couple of years when blue was in fashion for Christmas, but as fashions do, it died out and the traditional red came back.
When I was little and went to school, the Christmas holiday always began after a trip to church with the whole school.
