I just read the thread, it's incredible that people can think like this.
I mean,
From someone who's diabetic themselves and has a disabled child who is also going to be negatively effected by this deathcare bill.
The USA pays over twice as much for its health care as any other country and here's the life expectancy at birth list:
Japan, Hong Kong, Iceland, Switzerland, Australia, Spain, Sweden, Israel, Macau, France, Canada, Italy, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, Austria, Netherlands, Martinique, Greece, Belgium, Malta, United Kingdom, Germany, U.S. Virgin Islands, Finland, Guadeloupe, Channel Islands, Cyprus, Ireland, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Luxembourg, United Arab Emirates, South Korea, Chile, Denmark, Cuba, USA, Portugal, Slovenia...
Guess what almost all those thirty-seven countries where you can expect to live longer than in the USA all have in common? Some form of universal health care.
Of course the stats are skewed by the USA having a very high infant mortality rate for a developed country (33rd in the world).
