Make up your mind. Either after death there is a nothingness in the space that the NASA has positively proved, as you remark, or there is Heaven, either our brain is a combination of chemicals or something controlled by God. Either you go to Heaven immediately or never. What are 300 years, after all?, why that number?. If there is a God we are going to encounter after death, it´s for everyone. The meaning of nothing after death doesn´t provoke anguish. If there is nothing, there is nothing, people don´t worry if they cease to exist. If there is, Jesus was very clear that we´re going there according to our merits, not on whether we blindly believe on him or not.
I think the Giant Ocean Cruise Liner being upside down means that it's on the other side of the Earth from Gab. She is confusing her subjective experience of up and down with an objective perspective of up and down. The cruise liner is upside down relative to her position, but the cruise liner and its passengers have their own ideas and observations of gravity.

The purpose of our existence is to worry what happens to us after it has ended? Right, the answer is not even nothing, it's a meaningless question, as we do not exist at that point. What happens to X if there is no X? What kind of events are recorded when the camera isn't on? Maybe it isn't soothing, but it's true. No need to worry anymore.
