Why, if it weren't for homophobes like you, people who are gay would come to realize that they are in control of their own lives and have the ability to change if they put forth the effort. See, I gots me a question. With such issues as the war on terror, the war on iraq, the war on afghanistan, the war on drugs (goddamn we do a lot of wars in this country), violence in Kosovo, Rwanda, genocide in general, the AIDS epidemic, poverty, our trade deficit, our national budget crisis, the outsourcing of jobs overseas, our poor education in comparison to any industrialized society, the ever present racial divide in earnings, education, convictions, and sentencing. With that litany of issues and many more...WHY THE FUCK DO YOU PEOPLE INSIST ON TALKING ABOUT GAYS MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE!?
You are no more "looking out for" gay people than you can piss into the wind without getting wet. You care only for pushing your agenda on the unwilling by any means you can, fair or foul. Hypocrisy and lying are among your top tools, and this is a perfect example of it.

It's the nasty civil supporters who are driving black people into poverty and exclusion for encouraging them to improve their lives and not conform to the racist statu quo.
Many homosexuals do try to change. It never helps. What you people are teaching them is repression: emotional and psychological repression. You're telling them that something's wrong with them, that God hates them. How in the world could you ever think of that as a good thing? Your attempt to shift the blame to gay rights activists is both hypocritical and pathetic.

Actually, I would find this more funny if some people did not in all seriousness believe that it's the homosexuals fault that they get depressed and suffer due to the prejudices people hold regarding their sexuality.

Yes constantly telling gay people they're depressed, sinful, out of control, and stupid wouldn't drive them to suicide at all.

The only people you care about are yourselves. You just can't stand people living their lives in a way you don't approve of, even if it doesn't affect you.
