From one of Starbuck's earlier postings:
I am amazed at the stupidity level of athiests who describe themselves as "progressive" "intellectual" "brights".
And now:
I find it REAL hard to get excited about ancient monkey bones.
The hypocrisy makes baby Jeebus cry.
And getting excited about some old monkey bones is a perfect example..
What can I say... You want to spend that much money on old monkey bones and praise them as the cradle of humanity, go ahead. Doesn't make you right. And "Lucy" was not a human, she/he/it was a monkey of some kind. And you claiming she was doesn't make it so either. Quit working youself into a lather over such stupid things.
Ach! The pure stupidity of evolutionists and athiests is shocking..
Now, it is your turn to slam on me... But before you do, have a great day... Your good ones are severely numbered.

Is that a threat? Don't think for a second I won't bend you over and f*** your ass in front of your friends, sonny.
"Jeebus" is much older than its current connotations of mockery.
From the Urban Dictionary definition of Jeebus :
"it was used by Duke Ellington (1930's jazz writer/singer) in a throwback to his catholic school days. He used it instead of jesus so that the nuns couldn't beat him, or whatever it is that angry nuns do. he used it instead of jesus for the rest of his life"
Starbuck might actually be legitimate! :-O

Wow. I was totally unaware of that. Thanks for helping me learn something new today.

"Thunderf00t owns."
Hear, hear. He most definitely does own all who oppose him.
Hmmm... whatever its origins (and cheers - always nice to learn something!) I only ever see it as mockery, or occasionally to distinguish fundie!Jesus from actual!Jesus. I still call Poe.
Edit: @Headache: I don't know what's better, the fact that this series exists or the fact that it has over 20 full-length episodes.

So we'll only have great ones from now on?

"I find it REAL hard to get excited about ancient monkey bones."
You should do. Because in those (presumably) chimpanzee bones is the key to the link between apes and the hominids that ultimately became Homo Sapiens, i.e. us. Y'see 'bucky, we humans share at least 98% of our DNA with chimpanzees. Which can only mean one thing: Darwing was RIGHT all along.
Myself, I find it REAL hard to get excited about an invisible sky-wizard, and the fairytale that was written about him. At least there's overewhelming evidence to prove Evolution, and Darwin's theories on such. Can you say the same about your so-called 'God' and the Babble that mentions him?
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
