Ah yes. Of course, if one were to call abortion murder then one must apply the same standard to the removal of a tumor. And treating a parasitic infection would result in many murders. After all, God gave you those worms for a reason.

I'm pro-death most of the time, but not to little children. Mostly just people who annoy me, or I don't like, or are stupid, etc.

Ultimately it comes down to the woman, and most woman are probably not ever going to choose abortion, but we want it as a last-ditch option.
Someone please tell me how pro-choice = YAY ABORTION, when the stance would indicate that the person claiming to be pro-choice is in favor of all choice. Including carrying a child to term.
Also, I find it extra lulzy that most of the pro-lifers I've talked to are men. The pro-life women frighten me more than they do, though, because of the obvious cognitive dissonance going on.

However, consider this, fundie: Since the Jews believe that the gift of life is in the blood, it can therefore be argued that until the full functioning circulatory system is in place - there is no life. Also, since Muslims aren't prone to pull the plug on someone until brain death because only then it is positive that the mind is not able to be aware and worship Allah, it can be argued that therefore life does not begin until the brain is formed.
Yet somehow you want to try and toss out any sort of rational thought or science to back up your stance in the matter, and say that life begins at the moment sperm meets egg. Why stop there? Since contraception is also a sin, why not just go the next logical step in your nerve-bundle of a fundie brain and say that whenever a woman says NO to a man that it also interferes with God's plan. I mean since you don't give a fuck about a woman's right to choose a damn thing, it's only logical. Right?

If it can't survive outside the womb, it is technically a parasite and the host has every right to terminate it. If it isn't aware of it's environment, it isn't conscious and is no more alive than a tumor.

I guess I'd personally call myself "pro-consciousness". I don't believe that a person truly exists until its higher brain functions are formed and it becomes self-aware. Obviously, that doesn't include embryos, no matter how much human DNA is contained inside their cells. There's simply no one in there yet!
