Why did God have babies murdered? Well, I'm not sure what this is in reference to. I know of the firstborns in Egypt being killed (not murdered, though), and this was a specific curse for the Pharaoh.
Be very careful when answering questions like these. Atheists and agnostics are of the devil and will try to twist your words in accordance with the will of their father.

Actually, Don... may I call you Don? Thanks... Actually, Don, we don't have to "twist" anything.
Y'see, your god was so considerate, that he left ample evidence of his psychotic nature right there in the bible for all to see.
So, if anything, Don, YOU'RE the one twisting his words... And can you guess what THAT means, Don? Can you?
That's right, Don... You're goin' to HELL!
"Be very careful when answering questions like these"
Avoid questions like these, you mean. Make up some bullshit on the spot or study your leaders nonsense answers to such questions and/or (the most used ) use a totally unrelated quote from elsewhere in the Bible that still answers nothing
Because the Devil, my father, groomed me to twist words in some shadowy Christian forum in the bowels of the internet doesn't mean you can't trust me.
So why did God do all the baby-killing stuff again?
Killing the firstborns isn't murder, but abortion is? We don't need to twist fundies' words, they do a great job of it all by themselves.
And my father has been dead since 1993. Though I guess he is not what you meant.
“Why did God have babies murdered? Well, I'm not sure what this is in reference to.”
Take your pick.
God floods the world and kills every man, woman, child, toddler, BABY, fetus, and blastocyst on the planet, save 8.
God hardened Pharaoh’s heart to increase God’s glory and killed all the first-born of Egype.
God directed the slaughter of entire tribes, saving only the virgin girls to take as war brides.
God let a prophecy be shared with Herod, knowing that he’d have every baby slaughtered in response.
Why does an omnipotent god have to take lives, especially innocent ones?
“I know of the firstborns in Egypt being killed (not murdered, though), and this was a specific curse for the Pharaoh.”
Oh, and their being killed for another man’s punishment wasn’t murder because…?
“Be very careful when answering questions like these. Atheists and agnostics are of the devil and will try to twist your words in accordance with the will of their father.”
What’s to twist? God’s body count in his own Word far exceeds Satan’s.
You’re the one quibbling semantics.
Confused?
