Assuming for just a moment that "God" exists and that he DID create Adam & Eve as the first people, your omnipotent, omniscient, good and loving "God" could have created some more people. Don't be obtuse.

Heck, just look at the nobility in Europe. By the 1800s and early 1900s, most of the nobles were cousins due to the fact that nobles could only marry nobles.
ND and Shell: No, Adam and Eve need not have been considered siblings or anything (though if anything Eve would have to be considered Adam's clone ). However, their progeny would have had nobody else with whom to procreate but each other.

The funny thing is, creationists use evolution of a sort to explain why it was OK for Cain to bonk his sister. The fundie argument (pulled out of their asses, as usual) is that God created Adam and Eve with perfect genes, so incest would be OK. But then the human genome gradually got corrupted (due to the Fall). This created various recessive-gene birth defects that could be brought out by incest, so they made a rule against it.
Wait a second. Let's think about this logically, OK. According to the Babble, God created Eve from Adam's rib, so technically *I* would assume that Eve was Adam's daughter and that God was the woman here. So, that to me means that Eve was created from a homosexual relationship and Adam was her father.
The bible does not say anything about Adam and Eve being brother and sister, or father and daughter. If so then they could not engage in incest. Sure, their children could but that is not what you are saying here.

Assuming that his sister was 16 exactly, and that everyitime his sister got pregnant one month after the last baby was born, with 9months as the period of carrying the baby everytime...and assuming the youngest age she could get pregnant was 11...
