“You ask..
Would Jesus send you to hell for not accepting him?”
That’s pretty much the promise made in the Bible…
“The answer is no.”
Oh! And how will you weasel-word it to absolve the omnipotent being who can do everything?
“You send yourself to hell by not accepting him.”
And just like every OTHER tragedy in human events, the omnipotent being stands by uselessly and does absolutely fuck-all to stop it.
If there’s something you want to happen, and you don’t do everything in your power to make it happen, you’re complicit.
If you don’t want it to happen, and you don’t do everything in your power to stop it, you’re guilty of that, too.
Sure, sure, blame me for not seeing any evidence to support your superstition, but there’s Jesus doing nothing at all to change the outcome.
“Now let me explain.”
Yes, you don’t care about facts, just blame.
“Each and every person is born into sin. This has been so since the fall of man in the garden of Eden. The wages of sin is death. This was not the original plan of God for man to die.”
And the omniscient being was, according to the story… Surprised. Weird how he knows my every single sin and sinful thought, but can’t tell in advance what my choices will be…
“God sends his prophets to guide the people in days of old.”
Who stood there in the Garden and guided them NOT to listen to the Snake?
“They were given God's law to abide by.”
That worked out well when he flooded the Earth, didn’t it? Because man was ‘made’ with wickedness within him. And he punished Man for THE WAY WE’RE MADE!
“However sin prevailed and the people of old died in their sins.”
I don’t really care about that, I care about whether or not the supreme being who set all this shit up will take responsibility for his part in it.
