MrMannn, that isn't going to happen and you know it. You're just spewing hot air to impress your cyber harem on RR.
I'd rather be in the hospital having a colonoscopy with my roommate having sex in the bed right besides me--gay OR straight--than be within a ten mile radius of your hateful ass.

Medicare is the single largest health care payer in the country, medicaid is also a huge source of income. Hospitals that refuse those payers will be bankrupt in a month. They may also be violating the ADA and other laws if they turn these patients away.

I would say about 99% of the latter is true. Most major hospitals are now incorporated, and your little community St. Whatsits is probably just a part of a larger organization, and officially has little or nothing to do with any religion anymore.
Or, you know, DO THEIR FUCKING JOBS! Saving people's life and limbs regardless of what/who they are. I believe there's some kind of Oath that most, if not all medical care providers take. Hippocratic, but I have this feeling that it would be Hypocritcal in most "religious" hospitals...
Wait, you want hospitals to "serve the savior" by turning away elderly and/or poor patients? And a hospital that will treat them is the one "just paying him lip service?" In what twisted world does that make any- oh wait, this is RR. Never mind!
"And if they be poor, or old, or not of your faith, then deny them this health care for verily they are unclean."

You weren't one of the owners of that pharmacy a few posts down that decided to stop selling all those "sinful" goods, were you? Seems like this is pretty much the same business strategy.

I suspect there wouldn't be many closing since even churches would rather have money than Gawd.
Yeah it'll be nice to see which "religious" hospitals truly seek to save lives and which ones would rather let the sick suffer.
Because you know Jesus turned down sinners and poor sick people all the time! Oh wait... no he didn't.
In the USA, all hospitals exist to make money, so I'm guessing none will pay attention to your little temper tantrum.
By the way, you do realize that millions of Christian Americans rely on Medicaid and Medicare, right?
"which 'religious' hospitals truly seek to serve the Savior...and which pay him lip service while actually worshiping at the altar of the almighty dollar."
As far as your country's concerned, it's all of them. Even the ones that supposedly 'serve' the so-called 'Saviour' actually worship Mammon more than your 'God'.
Just ask Trijicon. Two Words: Bad PR.
But then, if you're a True Christian as you lot on Ruptured Retards claim to be, why do you even need healthcare? Why are you so worried about Obama's Health Reform Bill that's just come into law? Why should you be worried? Seems you don't put much faith in your 'faith'; a prayer a day should keep the doctor away.
Amirite?
Besides, Mr(Wo)Mannn & ehbowen (and everyone on Ruptured Retards), ask yourselves this question:
When Jesus healed the sick, lame, blind, lepers, insane et al, did he charge them for his services?
If you can answer the only way possible, you've just destroyed your own argument.
Right, I forgot about that bit in the Bible.
As written in the Gospel of Asshat, 4:20-21 "And Jesus said, 'And they shall ask for help, they shall beg for you to save them in their hour of need. And you shall deny them, for they do not hold to everything you do. In this way shall you spread my Father's love through the world.'"
This...this angers me like little else. The prospect of a homosexual being there for his/her partner, GIVING THEM COMFORT IN THEIR TIME OF NEED, is bad. Are you FUCKING serious. I don't care if you're gay. I don't care if you're straight. I don't care if you're bisexual, trisexual, pansexual, asexual, what the fuck ever, if you wish to deny someone who is wounded or sick, scared and alone the right to have someone they know, trust and love to be at their side, and comfort them, to say nothing of the person who is otherwise in limbo, not knowing what's going on with his/her loved one while they wait in the waiting room, you are a heartless, soulless sorry excuse for humanity. I don't care if you disagree with homosexuality. This isn't about morality. This is about denying us something to spite us, pure, flat and simple.
You, sir, wouldn't know compassion if it jumped up, and bit you in your likely substantial ass.
You know, this reminds me of something dealing with your religious hospitals.
I had to have a C-section and after was told how I cannot have another child because my uterus could not take it. It would be very dangerous for me to have another child.
The doctor also told me that tying my tubes was not an option at the time either because they were a religious hospital.
So, screw your religious hospitals. In my case, serving their savior made it so I have no deal with the effects of birth control and worries about another pregnancy instead of them doing their damn job and looking out for their patient's well-being.
Also, really? How is not accepting Medicare or medicaid going to weed out the scary gay people? Last time I checked, these weren't "gay only" insurances.
It will be an opportunity to see which 'religious' hospitals truly seek to serve the Savior...and which pay him lip service while actually worshiping at the altar of the almighty dollar.
Can't complain about this, he's spot on.
Not that I expect any of them to do that.
What? A hospital operating for profit?
Would a republican lie?
Does a bear shit in the woods?
I wonder how many churches truly seek to serve the Savior instead of worshipping at the altar of the almighty dollar. Would they be the ones held in a field or wayside? Or the ones with vaulted ceilings, stained glass windows, solid walnut pews and gold crosses...hmmm.
It will also be an opportunity for the general public to see how 'religious' hospitals truly seek to serve the Savior...by turning away the sick and the suffering in their hour of need.
What better publicity could religion ask for?
Wait, since when do religious hospitals treat people for free? I thought they were all for-profit hospitals, or at least all the religious hospitals I've ever heard of. That's why the "how many atheists have ever built a hospital?" argument is so weak.
Oh for fuck's sake, why don't you assholes just stop calling yourselves Christians and call yourselves Paulians already? We all know you have absolutely nothing in common with your supposed messiah. Even Gandhi recognized this fact. In the Bible Jesus went around healing anyone he came in contact with and hung around with tax collectors, prostitutes, and sinners (I don't agree with the concept of sin, but that's not important right now). if he existed in the modern times he'd likely be hanging out with gays and other minorities. You lot are just a bunch of bitter assholes who will do anything to justify their bigotry.
Yes, it will, ehbowen. Clearly, any hospital that takes Mr. Mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnn's suggestion is, as you put it, "worshiping at the altar of the almighty dollar," since Medicaid/Medicare are for people who can't afford standard healthcare and insurance.

Mr(Wo)Mann & everyone on Ruptured Retards are no more Christian than Genghis Khan was.
