Insanity/inanity sounds exactly what current conservative fundie Christian theology is. You know, where Jesus is more concerned with a man sleeping with a man rather than feeding the poor or healing the sick, and the rich are rewarded in Heaven despite all the things Jesus said about them in the bible.

So before Christ-insanity there was no life? No humans, animals, or plants? So what about all of those people in The Old Testament? So to whom did Christ preach when he got here?
Without Christ there is no christianity. Big hairy deal. Gazillions of people around the world manage just fine that way. Sorry, but if you're a big kid by now, you should know there's no Santa Claus.
The word "Christmas" is mostly used in English speaking countries.
Many countries have their local version completely free from any religious connection, like the Scandinavian Jul, French Noël, German Weinacht...

So, what you're saying is that if your god doesn't exist then your religion is insane, or that if you don't pay attention to Jesus then participation in Christian religion makes no sense? Okay. I have no problem with this.
Many Christians seem to have taken Christ out of their religion, and they do seem a bit insane.
